My Hubby and I always go out for breakfast on the week-ends. We have our usual haunts but decided to try the Rise and Shine ( formerly Skippy’s)Very nice renovations, extremely clean and very pleasant staff. Shout out to Nada and Keen, two very sweet girls who took excellent care of us?They made sure to explain that all meat is halal, which was absolutely no problem for us.Hubby had corned beef hash with over easy eggs and grilled home fries. Went here for my brothers birthday, he ordered the apple cinnamon pancakes with a side of sausages. He absolutely loved it all, everything was very filling. I had the Rise 'N Grind meal, my eggs were cooked just right and even though they do not serve pork the beef sausage was very delicious.It was genuinely a good first experience, the waitress was very consistent in making sure we were taken care of.
This review is going to seem fake because it is so great…But I can assure you, it’s very real…This place is really an amazing place to eat! Service is wonderful…Food is cooked perfectly…Coffee is hot and fresh. I even had some special requests and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me…Not a hint of ‘attitude’! My daughter and I absolutely loved it! Thanks Rise n Shine for an amazing Sunday brunch!
