Very nicely located, very spacious restaurant with a very nice view of the river and the Detroit high-rises but it was underheated today (October 13) when we went there for the Thanksgiving buffet meal. Some guests, including me, had to wear warm jackets! Also the loud jazz music was quite squeaky, not really listenable, which spoiled the dining experience. Since there were not many guests there today, it was pretty lifeless.

Went to River Room this evening with my family. Great ambience for some weekend family bonding! Our waitress, Aya, did an exemplary job throughout the entirety of our visit. She had phenomenal recommendations and was extremely familiar with the menu; she was professional and attentive to our needs. The food delicious, we will definitely be back!

Enjoyed the total experience at the River Room; great food, terrific service and awesome ambience. Christina went above and beyond in what one expects in a server. She is a great ambassador for River Room !!
