My mother, daughter, nieces and myself have long attended this delightful establishment. The food has always been exceptional and creative, with different monthly options. Yesterday, I took my mother there to pick up a special lunch for her 100th birthday, and they certainly did not fail to disappoint! They were way more than kind to her and we took home a fabulous lunch of quiche, salad and dessert pie. Each morsel was absolutely delicious and we both ate our entire meal. Riverside Pie Cafe is an absolute gem! I visited recently for their famous chicken pot pies, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home.
The chicken pot pie was delicious—packed with tender chicken, fresh veggies, and a perfectly seasoned creamy sauce, all encased in a buttery, flaky crust that practically melted in my mouth. It tasted homemade and comforting, like something out of a family recipe book.

From recommendations from neighbourhood people, I decided to order some butter tarts and some pecan tarts. When I got the tarts home, I was initially disappointed as the pastry appeared to be very very thick. Was I ever wrong! The pastry was butter flaky and just melted in your mouth. I will not hesitate to order again!

Stopped in for the first time and honestly I am shocked by all of the high ratings this place had. Maybe I ordered the wrong items, I don’t know. The shining star was the salted chocolate chip cookie, it was quite good. The cheesecake was ok, nothing to write home about, but the biggest disappointment was the frozen savoury hand pies. Tried two different kinds and the meat was very tough and all in all lacking flavour. The dough was also very dry yet somehow not very flaky. At more than 8 dollars a pie I expected more. Service was fine and friendly but don’t see me returning.
Amazing pies! Drive 1 hour to get pie and it’s so worth it. The crust is one of the best I’ve had and they always have a number of varieties. I would suggest ordering ahead as they sell out quick. They will gladly split a pie so you can have a couple varieties. Highly recommended!

I cannot get enough of the lemon cookies. They are so tasty and it takes self control to not eat them all. Their soups are always tasty and make me believe I should eat soup more. Lots of options for frozen meals made with great ingredients. Staff is friendly and informative. If it was closer, I would walk there every day for a cookie.
