Roma's Pizza House of Windsor - A family review.
(Our quest to find the best pizza place in Windsor)
Review #2 (See Naples Lauzon location for review #1)
We ordered a large pizza and a 2L of Coke that came out to $36. This was on sale too.
The restaurant itself is a throwback to old family style restaurants. This pizza place is the last of a dying breed. The store was very clean and welcoming. The environment was warm and very comfortable. Staff were amazing. It was a little haunting being in here. It's a shame, such a nice location, but it was empty.

Pre taste - 4 - The pizza did not look very appetizing to me. Very small, thin slices.
Cheese - 3 - Not much flavor to it. Very thin.
Sauce - 5 - Nothing special. Couldn't taste it as much.
Crust - 5 - Regular crust.
Overall - 3
I really wanted to love Roma's pizza. The restaurant itself has a lot of charm. The pizza falls flat however. You're supposed to get 16 slices in a large and as you can see from my pictures, many slices are barely slices. More like toothpicks. The pizza is no where near the cost for the quality or quantity. We as a family would not recommend Roma's to people who've never had it before.
Final family score - 43/100

Way too expensive. $20 for a baby pizza?? Barely any cheese. Not worth the money sorry.

Staple pizza spot in Windsor, the staff is welcoming, and the Greek salads are great.

Bought a cheese pizza with sun dried tomatoes, it cost me $30 and couldn't even compare to a local pizza which I buy for $8 from little Ceasars, it tasted only sour and nothing else, never ever I would go back there to get a pizza!!

Stopped in here on a whim while in Windsor. So glad we did! What an amazing little joint. We were greeted immediately by the friendly staff. After checking over the menu, we went with a medium, 3 topping pizza. It was the perfect pizza! The balance of everything was on point. Ratios of topping, sauce and crust couldn't have been better. When were are back in Windsor we will for sure come back and have another slice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm sad to say that Roma's is on the way out. They've drastically raised their prices over the last year, quality seems to have gone down, and I'd swear that their Queen pizza has gotten smaller. At the "queen" size, Franco's gives you 17% more pizza for 9% less, not including the free 2L pop they'll give you. That means that Roma's is 29% more expensive! On top of that, we generally order double mushrooms, which would count as two toppings at most other restaurants. At Roma's, they consider it a double topping which is a $6 upcharge on a Queen, regardless of number of toppings. That is their choice, but it means that the same pizza is $10 more at Roma's than at Naples or Franco's.

I used to absolutely love this place. The food is still good but nowadays there are no good specials except for Thursday and the prices in my opinion are outrageous. Can of pop is like 3$. Sorry to let you go but we won’t be back until something changes. New ownership needed in my opinion.

Charming little place. Parking situation sucks. Don't get the mozzarella sticks. They're frozen and only getting 6 for $13 is crazy. However, the pizza is amazing. Best Windsor pizza I've had in the 2+ years I've been in Windsor. Sooooo tasty. I can't dock stars for a mediocre at best appetizer when the pizza is so good.
