The Coffee infused Porter, with beans from Campoñeros Coffee is great! Campoñeros just opened a coffee place in Amherstburg. It would be great to have one of their delicious empanadas AND a SBC Coffee Porter there. Maybe one day!
Great beer great price great services
Time to cross under the river and check out some Canadian breweries. #51 in the brewery tour.
OMFG! This is exactly what I envision a craft brewery to be, especially in the older parts of the continent: housed in a repurposed building, lots of exposed brick, tin ceiling, reused wood, etc. This place is, in my mind, the absolute standard, the dictionary definition of what a brewery/pub should be.
We walked in 2 minutes after they opened, wandered around before finding the owner, Carrie, returning with her hot soup lunch.
Got our first brews then ordered lunch. I went with the Cubano sandwich and poutine, my compadre with the roast beast & fries. Poutine is amazing, if a touch salty. The Cubano was super delicious and stuffed full if a little smaller than a traditional Cuban. The roast beef was top-notch as well.
The beer is very good as well. Sampled several, drank full pints of a couple, no complaints here.
Carrie was delightful, gave us all sorts of information on the building & 3 year build out. Very friendly.
There is also a really big beer garden out back.
Can I move in? I don't take up much space.
Went for yoga, brunch and brew. Loved it!
Great beer and the roast beef sandwich is amazing my friend said it was the best he had
Staff was so friendly
A must go to when in Windsor
Absolutely wonderful brewery with a very creative and talented brewer, wonderful servers, great music, all nestled in a historic location. Expresso Porter is top notch and don’t leave without trying a White Bronco.
Beautiful patio and good food but the service was terrible the staff member obviously forgot bc everyone who came after us ordered and got food quickly. She didn't put the order in until she realized we had been sitting there for 30 minutes than she put in our order than avoided us the whole time claiming they were short staffed but it's crazy how every other table got services... never going again. Ordered at 2pm didn't get food til 3:15... she also wanted a 20 percent tip. Not one apology
My wife and I really enjoyed their beer. I personally recommend to try them all because you will be surprised at how good they are.
The roast beef sandwich was delightful too.
Finally, they truly are awesome people there. Passionate, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Don't let the construction on the road deter you, pay them a visit.
Re-visiting this review and downgrading to a 4 rating. First off I like their beer - at one point this was my favorite brewery in Essex County.
I've been disappointed lately with the lack of variety they have. They have 6 or at most 7 beers available on tap and it seems that the vast majority of them are often IPAs and/or very hop-forward. I would love to see more variety from Sandwhich as they do make good beer. Let's get some reds, blondes, brown ales, stouts etc. as mainstays and not just limited-time/small batches.
We stopped by on our way back to the states and were highly impressed. Great, crafted beers with a small food menu with tasty sandwiches. The staff were all nice and very attentive. The beers are all well thought out and executed. Will definitely visit again on our trips across the border.

Probably the best place to get a handcrafted beer. From white bronco to prairie sunshine… and many specialty beers depending on the time of year.. this brewery locks down the consistency on delivering delicious craft beer.Food options start with just sandwiches. Complimentary popcorn. Pretzels with exquisite mustard sauce. As well as specialty wings. Sandwich brewery is always looking for a new menu item to add to the roster.Try their charcuterie boards!Pops for the kiddos and wine for mom. They just do everything right.Doggo friendly patio! Stop to pet them all.Enjoy!
One particular staff member. Doesn’t like constructive feedback
Avaliable Few Opinions for vegetarian. Good to stop if you cross the Windsor.
