I went back to the shop to get a refund, but the employee didn’t apologize, only offered excuses. This place really needs better staff training. We love Slinky's! The selection is great, the staff always friendly, and they are great at handling special requests due to allergies. We always make this our ice cream destination of choice!Dietary restrictions: Staff are great with our peanut/tree nut allergies, they wash hands and get new gloves, before grabbing new packages of safe-for-us cones and offering us the soft serve options.

We ordered a Taylor Swift themed ice cream cake for our daughter's birthday party and it was absolutely perfect - the birthday girl screamed "This is better than Dairy Queen!!!!" after the first bite! The cake was ready when I arrived for pick-up, staff was friendly, gave great advice on how long to let the cake warm before serving, and she even offered to hold the door so I didn't risk dropping the cake on my way to the car. Hands-down best ice cream cake we've ever ordered :) Thank you, Slinky's, for helping to make our daughter's birthday extra special!

I was scrolling Facebook and noticed on the slinky’s page they were advertising their ice cream cakes. I saw a white Christmas peppermint cake and my son loves candy cane ice cream so I thought it would be perfect for his birthday. I ordered it online and Kim responded very quickly that my order was received and would be ready for the specified date. The hours of pickup were a little late between 4-8pm but that wasn’t a problem for me since my son’s party was in the evening but just wanted to note that incase you need it earlier to order it for the day before your event. The cake looked great!! It tasted even better! It was so delicious and everyone loved it! It had the perfect amount of peppermint flavour wasn’t super strong but also not subtle it was very good and would definitely order again! :)

One word: yum! I was surprised when I saw a long line outside at 9:45 at night but I totally understand the hype now! There are so many different types of flavours to choose from. We ended up going with Chocolate Chunk Espresso and Grammy's Cupboard. Both were very flavourful - Can't tell which one was better because they were both sooo good. Overall, I've really enjoyed my ice cream here. I wish I lived closer so I can get it more often, would love to try all the other flavours!

Update: 1st time back since before covid. The place looks great, smells clean, and I love the look. Very inviting. Yogurt is still amazing. Definitely enjoy this location for a treat.It's always a busy place, but the frozen yogurt is my favorite. There is plenty of ice cream to choose from. My husband had 2 scoops on a waffle cone, and it was too big to finish. Great value
