Amazing food I got the Jerk Chicken Platter with Armenian Garlic Sauce Style via Uber Eats. Plate was super good with great presenation! The rice had a good flavour with cumin. My utensils were missing and I informed the restaurant and they were kind to offer me a free drink next order. InshaAllah for more to come and glad the restaurant offers all Halal dishes! 🤲🌻

Got the Mac and cheese side, it tastes good, but for a large it’s $19.20 after tax, and it’s such a small portion. I believe when I got a small of the Mac and cheese before ($14 after tax) it was the same amount but in a different container. Such a rip off.

Tastes good but overall just not worth it.

Smokies BBQ is Windsor’s biggest hidden gem! The kids couldn’t get enough of the mac & cheese, and we all loved the smash burgers and the pulled rib burger. Even their fries were exceptional. Everything was absolutely delicious. But the real star for me was the ribs! Hands down the best I’ve ever had, AND everything is halal! We’ll definitely be back soon!

We had lunch for the first time and I was really surprised with the taste and it was amazing.

Parking at the street side and getting inside to a cozy little space with friendly staff with a smile.

Had the mix d grill and PROVOBELLO burger and it was wow.

Will go again for sure.

Only tried once. Smells great with all that smoking going on! Service is excellent. Food was pretty good. A bit pricey or I would give 4 stars. I will try again, I think the place has potential and I'm sure there are plenty of delicious eats on the menu.

I kept hearing amazing things about Smokies all the way back in Toronto, so I finally decided to see what the hype was about. I drove all the way to Windsor just for their burgers, and let me tell you—it was 100% worth the trip. The moment I took the first bite, I understood why everyone talks about this place. The flavor, the quality, the freshness—everything was on point. I’ve tried almost every well-known burger spot in Toronto, but Smokies is truly in a league of its own. It’s not just a burger, it’s an experience. I would gladly drive again!

I came here twice to try it out. The first time, I got a rib platter. The ribs were good and what I would expect of a classic american/canadian bbq staple. The salad was good too. However, the mac and cheese was drowning in a puddle of oil. The rice was the worst part though. The rice was indian jeera rice and the flavour made no sense at all with this american/canadian style dish. At the very least, a middle eastern flavored rice would have been acceptable since it would pair nicely with the ribs and mac. The second time I went, I ordered the jerk chicken platter. This experience was even worse. The chicken was undercooked and extremely wet inside despite having a seared outside and there were no jerk seasonings on it at all. The eggplant was so cold, it seemed it had been cooked in advance, then kept refrigerated. They must have forgot to reheat it smh The rice was once again a sad version of jeera rice loaded with cumin seeds. Please stop making indian-cuisine rice for american/canadian and carribean dishes. The flavors don't make sense together.
The owner needs to go back to the drawing board on the rice's flavour profile since its paired with all menu items.
If you insist on making jeera rice, at least include the cinnamon, bay leaf, cardamom, cloves, chillies, and the corriander so its at least a respectable jeera rice - not that it will pair better. Ghee, an overwhelming amount of cumin seeds and a little dash of turmeric isn't the move.
Neither is undercooked meat or cold food just because the place is busy.
Also, theres never forks here for takeout orders.

When a burger place gets talked about all the way in Toronto, you know it must be something special. I made the trip to Windsor just to try Smokies, and I’m so glad I did. The burger was incredible—perfectly cooked, loaded with flavor, fresh ingredients, and every bite was satisfying. I’ve tried every ā€œbest burgerā€ in Toronto, but none of them compare. Smokies truly has the top burger—number one in taste, quality, and overall experience. This place deserves all the hype!

Being a huge burger lover, I’ve spent years trying the most popular burger spots across Toronto. Recently, I kept hearing people rave about a place called Smokies in Windsor. I was curious, so I made the drive—and wow, it exceeded every expectation. The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The bun was soft but held everything together, and the toppings were fresh and balanced. On top of that, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Honestly, Smokies doesn’t just compete with Toronto burger spots—it beats them. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
