Had a great birthday dinner for my son tonight. There were four of us having apps, cocktails and a main course. The arancini balls are amazing as are the fries. Chicken marsala was delicious and the others loved the chicken parmesan. The tiramisu is a must. Great service. I highly recommend reservations.

Loved our time here. Everything was great including our very patient, organized and friendly waitress Daria. Ordered the frittata mista, spaghetti alio e olio, lobster pappadelle, gnocchi pesto all were fantastic I highly recommend the pesto gnocchi. The only dish that wasnt a favourite was the pizza and tiramisu. Also met the manager and he was very nice. We will definitely be coming back when we are back in town.
We had a Reservation for 16 people on Saturday.We were celebrating a Birthday and Retirement. Our Reservation was 4 p.m. hardly anyone was there. Four of our guests had to send their plate back, it was not even hot….so disappointing as we were waiting for everyone to eat. They said they were remaking the meal instead of making it hot. Everyone was finished at different times, I was not overly excited at my meal, I have had way better. Honestly I don’t know what all the hype is.

My family, a group of 16 arrived at 4pm, when they restaurant first opened. While our only server, Daria was wonderful as well as the room we ate in there were a few things that came up very short. I used the washroom as soon as our table was seated. It wasn't clean at all...There was toilet paper on the floor, unflushed toilets, and one toilet was filled with poop. It smelled awful in there, so honestly not a great start to the evening. The appetizers were lovely, the drinks were OK. The peach bellini shot made by our server at the end of dinner was the most delicious thing though. The main dishes arrived after over an hour. There were temperature issues when some of my family members received their meal, and they had to send them back. Multiple times.
I really expected better from this place, as it is known so well and talked so highly about. I understand mistakes happen, but for the amount of mistakes the kitchen made over and over again was so unexpected and disappointing. Please, do better. The prices do not equate for the service at all. For most of my family to send their dishes back, and not even receive a discount... horrible experience! All 16 of us will not be back.

I recently hosted an event at Spagos South Windsor, and I can’t say enough about how amazing the entire experience was. The food was absolutely phenomenal — so many of our guests commented on how delicious everything was. The staff truly went above and beyond. I worked with two different managers, and both were fantastic — attentive, professional, and incredibly helpful. From planning the best table layout to making sure every detail was perfect, they helped make the event run smoothly and stress-free. The customer service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect for our occasion. I highly recommend Spagos for any special event or even just a great dinner out. They really made our day unforgettable!

The pizza was a soggy mess. Couldn't even pick it up and feel apart when I held it. Bottom was wet and Taste like honey and that was about it and had to eat it with a knife and fork. Very disappointed. Wait staff was just kids and I saw her twice. Once to take oreder and next to pay bill. Nothing wrong with her but she was just busy and did come around. Wait time was around the 45 minutes to hour total for food. Totally understand as it was busy but I would of waited longer for better food. All in all it was okay. The price was a killer for what we got. I feel like it was busy for staff and they was just pumping food out. I may try again when it's slower as wife said they can do better.
We just ate there and the food was sublime... the service provided by Rico was excellent and we enjoyed every bit of the experience. 10 out of 10

The atmosphere is amazing, I can easily see this location being rented out for small weddings or reception events. Lovely decor and great set up. The food was delicious apart from the desert. The quantity of food you get is huge so be prepared to come very hungry or to have leftovers.
The desert we got was bombolini which resembled more of a Nutella sandwich I used to take for school lunch rather than the light fluffy airy filled donut it should be. Also instead of piping the filling in they cut it in half and spread it inside which added to the sandwich vibe. Note, the first time the desert was brought out it was incorrect. The second time it came it was better but the gelato definitely had ice crystals in it and not that creamy - we just went with it at that point. My pasta was delicious but I wish it came steaming hot instead of lukewarm - not sure if it was the kitchen or our server being occupied. Eggplant parmesan was delicious and the mancotti was good but overwhelmed with cheese and needed something with texture on the plate. We loved our burrata shareable starter.

The other table got parmesan cheese offered with their salads we did not. We had to literally stack up plates at the edge of the table so they would be cleared from the appetizer round. We came to spago in memory of a relative who recently passed (july2025) to celebrate his life as it was his favorite restaurant. It's something we didn't share with the staff (because I don't think you need to share those details to have great service) but if the food was slightly better (especially the desert) and the service was on point it would have made the night 10/10 rather 8/10.
I'd recommend going to spago and would come back again if I was in the area.

Myself and my granddaughter had dinner there aug,14/2025.She had gnochi, I had chicken parm. She ended up getting the spicy gnochi instead of the regular, My chicken was fine, but i was not given a choice of sauces or of pasta. The pasta I got was basically swimming in tomato sauce and there was very little of it. I had to shake off the extra tomato sauce to make it edible. I is usually very good there, but this time was a big disappointment.
