Best place to study. Although it's a college, it's teachers and education are superior to universities. I'm very happy. I definitely recommend it because they are caring and understanding.
This school is very disappointing. Students are expected to spend thousands on tuition, books, and overpriced parking, yet are constantly told that attendance and “school comes first,” ignoring the reality that many students need to work just to afford being here.
Textbooks are a rip-off, much of the material could be online, and after years of school you still struggle to find work—often being underpaid or told you’re overqualified. If you end up on academic probation, OSAP support becomes limited or unavailable, making things even harder.
Overall, it feels like a waste of time and money with very little real-world support for students
It showed open but they're closed for holidays still
Too many changes in management and Chair of Nursing program. Poor to no response via emails. Professionalism and communication from management to instructors is poor
Straight waste of time and money. They make you show up just to get marks, so you can’t even work to afford books. Don’t come unless you want student debt. Wish I could rate this half a star.
good school over all but no real mental health resources, did nothing for me when SA takes your money for everything ex. course outlines this school is a joke when it comes to student well being!!!! Go to FANSAHWE so well run when it come to student well being.
Excellent customer service
St Clair has great sporting teams. They have there own student restaurant, a bar, 2 Tim's, Booster Juice, Subway & Shawarma. All of the teaches, students and staff are super nice. St. Clair has a lot programs you name it they have it.
Thank you for reading and have a good day!
Used to be a great facility to study. Although I do not attend the college and I do respect their rules; respectfully, the high schoolers ruined the experience for non student studiers. First of all why are you allowing high school kids on your campus… the campus should be restricted to anyone under the age of 18… B) I hope you lose out on more money issued in parking due to less students showing up to study, and I also hope the extra business inside the school feel the effects on how much is lost not have other students around supporting local businesses buying food, merch, etc…
You either pay $850 for public transportation or over $1000 for a parking pass, keep in mind the parking pass last year was around $600-700. This is absolutely ridiculous to expect students to be paying absurd amounts of money for public parking. Also if you park on the street, you have a 2 hour limit and even sometimes a 10 min limit. The school needs to seriously figure something out for the downtown campus because you can't be charging $360 at the main campus and 3x that downtown.

Perfect!
After completing EAP 8, I can confidently say that the program has helped me improve my English skills and better prepare for my future studies. It was a valuable experience that gave me both knowledge and confidence.
A big part of this progress was thanks to my teacher, Samah. She is not only very knowledgeable but also an excellent communicator who makes every lesson clear and easy to follow. Her teaching style is engaging, supportive, and encouraging, which creates a positive learning environment for all students. She always takes time to answer questions and explain concepts in different ways until everyone understands.
Because of her patience and dedication, I was able to make significant progress in my English. I improved my speaking, writing, and overall confidence in using the language. Samah motivates her students to do their best and never makes anyone feel left behind. I am truly grateful for her commitment, kindness, and professionalism, and I believe she is an outstanding teacher who makes a real difference in her students’ success
In my case, I'm mostly satisfied with the EAP course.
All of the instructors prepared the lessons well and provided useful information to the students. The teacher Samah of the final level was especially impressive. She clearly conveyed the core of the challenging course and guided us effectively so that we could manage our busy schedules.
I think it would be better if one teacher taught all four parts, as this would allow better time management.
Anyway, thanks to all the dedicated teacher, I am very glad that I was able to finish my EAP course successfully.
During my journey at St. Clair College, I had the chance to meet amazing teachers who truly made a difference in my learning.
I would like to sincerely thank Professor Elaine, who taught me in Level 3–4. She was one of the most wonderful personalities I have met at the college. Her honesty in teaching and the creative activities she introduced made the class very enjoyable. She is the reason I started to love English.
However, my experience in Level 6 was unfortunately not very positive. In Reading & Writing, the classes lacked clear explanations, and in Listening & Speaking I felt the evaluation was not fair. Grades seemed to depend more on personal preferences than actual performance, which was very discouraging for me and made me lose motivation for a while.
Thankfully, everything changed again in Level 7–8 with Teacher Samah. She was truly the reason I improved my writing skills and started enjoying academic English. She always encouraged us to practice writing, use academic vocabulary, and correct our own mistakes through Blackboard activities. Her way of teaching grammar and reviewing vocabulary every day helped me gain confidence and love writing.
Thank you so much Professor Elaine and Teacher Samah for all your effort and dedication. You made my learning experience unforgettable.
