Food was average, nothing special.

Delicious and authentic! Unexpectedly good Chinese food in Windsor.

Big is not big.

I have eaten at Sun Hong for many years. I was first taken there by one of Windsor’s top chefs and the head of the Culinary Arts program at St. Clair College for over 25 years. While we there we saw other notable Windsor Chefs eating there as well. They have the best Peking Duck outside of Hong Kong, The food is always served fresh and quickly virtually every time we have been there. The staff are outstanding - they remember exactly what we like to order every time. They have no liquor licence unfortunately- so my wife brings wine in an insulated bottle and sips on it while we are there. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The place is constantly packed with ethnic Chinese, not just students, a lot of families as well, so you know the food is authentic. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We are looking forward to getting back there next week.

Been going here for years, it's always super good! Highly recommend the crispy beef on rice.

Hands down one of the Chinese restaurants I've ever been to, everything we ordered was fantastic. The roasted combo plate was excellent little bit of everything, favourite was the crispy pork. The crab fried rice was the best I've ever had, even the stir fried green beans were super flavorful. The auntie serving us had the whole place on lock, super fast and attentive the Lions could have used her as a lock down corner against Washington the way she was all over the place making sure everyone had what they needed. The inside of the restaurant was very basic, but who cares when the food and service is this good. I can't wait to visit again, might be my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Windsor and totally worth the drive across town.

I wish there was an option for 0 star this is the worst experience I’ve ever had the employees have no manners don’t know how to talk to customers. We have to wait for 40 minutes to get the food and other customers were waiting for 1and a half hours. But the staff was the worse. No ethics and ruined my whole evening wasted my time. They should replace the girls at front or at least teach them some manners.

Great local Chinese restaurant! Amazing food and lovely staff and very accommodating. They are all so sweet especially to my 5 year old daughter. This is my family's favorite restaurant.

Ordered 3 dishes. Two of the dishes were bland and the broccoli and Bok Choi were overcooked and completely mush. One dish was egg noodles with beef brisket. The noodles were chow mein and the dish had huge globs of fat which were explained as tendon. To top it off no fortune cookies or sauces. The General Tao’s chicken was dry and chewy like it had been under a heat lamp all day. This was our first time ordering from here as we were looking for a new restaurant. Unfortunately, we were disappointed.

It’s not polite to withdraw all dishes when one is dining, without a word of notice.
I was asking for the name of some courses but the waitress was extremely impatient.
An old lady also fell because of the wet floor.
Don’t think i am gonna have dinner here anymore.

Ordered food at noon for pick up at six, it was not ready until seven. When we went to eat, the chicken balls were cold and everything else was just luke warm. Very disappointed.
