We were very excited to finally try out The Sunset Grill. Our friends from London raved about the other locations. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience. It was so crowded in there and the tables are so tiny and close together that we couldn’t comfortably sit. We were touching elbows with people.
For food, I did enjoy my pancakes however, the home fries everyone at our table received were wet and unappetizing. Perhaps that’s just the style there but we did not enjoy them. And another member of our party said he didn’t enjoy the omelette.
The service was decent. The woman refilling coffee was quick and pleasant. But overall, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

I have been to this restaurant twice. The first time I came in with 5 friends and 1 toddler. It was cold outside and the manger told us that the only space that could accomplish was right by the door. The seating by the door was a really congested and a cold spot. A waitress stepped in and thankfully moved some tables around and made it work for us in a space away from the door.
The waitress that helped accommodate actually came up to me and apologized and said that she’s appalled at the customer service of the person who claimed to be a manager (long dark hair) and how she was being so rude and not willing to seat us anywhere except by the door.
The second time I came was today. The same manager(the girl with the long dark hair) said she was too busy to take our party of 5. I asked if she could give us an estimate of how long it could be but she said she doesn’t know could be an hour or so because there was only two tables that could accommodate 5 people, and both of those parties just entered the restaurant before us.
I left my number with her and she said she would call when she was done. We went to Marshall’s and spent an hour there. No phone call. Once we left Marshall’s I called to see how much longer I would be and the manager told me that she called me 25 minutes before and it just went to voicemail. I said I never got a missed call or a voice mail from you. She said she couldn’t accommodate again because the tables were full.
If it was a one time thing I wouldn’t be upset, but both times I have visited the same person creates an issue and has very very poor customer service. I cannot wait until sunset grill opens on Huron church opens and I really hope they hire people with actual customer service skills and basic manners.
Been Trying to call all morning no answer goes to voice mail and yes there open lmao
Food has absolutely no flavour. Someone please buy these guys a spice rack and show them how to use it. If you like bland food , you’ll love it here.

We came for brunch and the service that we got from Tonya was exceptional. She went above and beyond and made sure that we were well taken care of. She came by often to fill up coffee and to check to make sure we were enjoying our food. She was friendly, caring and her customer service made our experience a 5 star experience.

Decided to give this place a try because of all the good reviews. I spent over 60 dollars on breakfast foods . It was ice cold when it arrived . And either someone ate the egg or they didn't put enough. If I ever decide to try again it will be in person as this would make me give 100 thumbs down . I can't recommend and food from here at this time .

I come here often for chocolate chip pancakes (best ones I've ever had, btw). Once I went in and the pancakes weren't quite right, a bit undercooked. I brought it up to my waitress and she had them taken away and brought me new ones that tasted just as good as always. Manager came out and said it was a bad batch and she apologized. Because of this we got the pancakes for free! That's well worth the wait if you ask me
My one, very mild grievance is that they have one room bathrooms, but still gender them. Which I just don't find necessary. Cuz no one else is in there with you, why should it matter? Unfortunately that's still pretty common though, so it's not personal against this place specifically

Wife and I went to Sunset Grill for lunch. We didn't know this place was here until we pulled in to go to five guys.
We are so happy we did!
To start off, the hospitality was off the charts from our waitress. She was the greatest waitress we ever had!.
Annie was the sweetest, nicest and most welcoming person who treated us like family from the first second to our goodbyes. Her warm and infectious smile and attitude made this spot a can't miss!
The food itself was delicious. Our burgers were homemade and on the flat top giving it that amazing crust you want on a burger. For $12, you can't go wrong!
We will definitely be back to try their many burgers, omlettes and other breakfast dishes very soon!.
Thanks Annie. You put the sunshine in Sunshine Grill

Ordered food & they gave me the wrong sandwich. Waitress tried to tell me the ingredients were on the menu. I literally ordered a peameal on a bun, ingredients are only lettuce tomato and peameal. She insisted they made it wrong (not one thing was correct on the sandwich) they put egg, guacamole & regular bacon. She asked me what I want…. I just want the right sandwich.
Came back with right sandwich and the bun was so soggy, 2 tomatoes cut a mountain high. I couldn’t even enjoy it. Home fries were white, not even browned properly. Staff was on their phone behind the counter. When I told the waitress I couldn’t enjoy my food with the soggy bun, she didn’t rectify the situation, she didn’t even acknowledge the complaint.
Disappointing, I don’t recommend, i’ll never waste my money here again.

Horrible service. Wife went in with a party of 6 and they refused to let them all sit together. Wasn’t busy at all, plenty of tables. Also, food is average at best and extremely overpriced for breakfast. Will not go back.
