The food was amazing as always, but they really need to consider hiring a bartender and bus boy. The lack of these roles in the restaurant is obvious and adds to the servers responsibilities which in turn takes away from the overall dining experience.
The food was great however service was lacking and disappointing
The “unknown” gem satisfies every single time!
I was disappointed in the atmosphere as the tables were too close together. We were a party of four people so our tables were joined together, they did not line up properly, one was higher than the other, so we had to be careful that we did not set anything, like our wine glasses, down on the table where the two tables connected. The tables were wooden and had no table cloths on them, which was disappointing for a bistro that is supposed to be “upscale.” The music was too loud to have a conversation. The floors were slippery and felt greasy. I don’t know if something had been spilled on the floor and not properly cleaned up or if it was the product they use on cleaning their floors but they felt very “greasy: and I was afraid of my elderly husband slipping on the floor. I also did not like the fact that the path from the kitchen to the dining room was down a hallway where the washrooms were located. So, the server had to carry our food right past the washrooms where the urinals could be seen when the door to the washroom was opened. Who knows what was airborne in that area! Food was OK but the “garlic mashed” potatoes lacked enough garlic to give it ant flavour. Vegetables were disappointing….only carrots and zucchini….which were overdone. Our friends, who had the Caesar salad said it was good. I would only give this restaurant a 3-star. Escargot was good…had a very buttery sauce. Salmon and steaks were all good. However, the food, service and atmosphere in this restaurant were not worth the money that we paid and I doubt that we would go back. The Keg beats this place by a long shot!
Great experience 😋food was delicious, nice moode, the service was little slow but the food definitely made up for it. It was expensive though
The food quality was excellent. The ribeye, lamb steak, and seafood pasta were all incredibly delicious. The appetizers were just as impressive — the mini Wellington and escargot were fantastic! It’s a great spot for special occasions, as it’s a bit pricey, but the atmosphere, food, and overall vibe make it well worth it.
Bearnaise sauce was awful. Pre made. The seasonal vegetables were rock hard and not seasoned. The rest was very good!
Excellent and our waiter Adrian is the BEST!! All apps and main entrees were delicious... I've been a few times and will continue to support and recommend!
We were early for our reservation, no issues they took us to our seats. Waiter was great, very informative with food options. Service was great. Food was great, one of the best steaks in the city if not the best. Will return as this was first time there.
This was one of the best meals my family and I have ever had. The steak was melt in your mouth and perfectly cooked! The sides were delicious! The garlic shrimp appetizer and the arancini balls were the perfect start to an outstanding meal. Our server was top notch and very attentive. Overall an amazing dinner and experience. Will definitely be back!

10/10 - what a great place to have a date night! Our waiter was fantastic. We did not remember his name, but he did look like John Wick, lol. The complimentary bread with whipped garlic butter was a nice touch. We had the scallops, filet mignon, and ribeye. All steaks come with a vegetable and your choice of starch. I chose the potato croquette, and my husband had the garlic cheesy scalloped potatoes. All of it was outstanding! We will be back for sure!
Adrian, was an excellent waiter. His recommendations were superb. We ordered everything he recommended and were extremely happy. The only down fault of the evening was the table directly behind us which was extremely loud. Pretty much made us leave right after we ate. Not sure if they could have said anything to them, but made a great night of food feel like we were at a roadhouse pub. Will be back again for the food.
I can't believe this was our first time at this restaurant. Another popular restaurant had recommended we give it a try and WOW!! The steak was the best we had ever eaten, the staff was so pleasant and the ambiance was superb! If you are ever in Windsor this is a must try!!
