This is BY FAR one of the best restaurants in Windsor. Absolutely blown away when we recently got take out from here, just outstanding. Everything is homemade , very large portions. Had the spinach pie ( probably the best I have had in my lifetime) and the Shawarma beef and chicken plate . Just so flavourful and unique! Their pita bread is all homemade as well and it’s unbelievable. I literally called them after our meal to rave ! Will eat here again many times to come.
Most consistent, and delicious middle eastern food in Windsor. One of the only spots where you actually get made to order fresh pita bread with your plates.
The brothers that run this place are always very friendly and talkative, and really do a good job.
In a city where there seems to be a middle eastern restaurant on every corner, Tarboosh really stands out to me as being at the top.

Tarboosh Middle Eastern Bakery and Grill serves consistently delicious food, never disappointing. Their marinated meats and freshly made Arabic pies set them apart. The friendly and funny staff provide excellent service. Highly recommended for their outstanding shawarma, fatoush salads, and pies, with ample parking in the plaza. First time, and won't be the last! They got the plater for 4! Amazing flavourful, huge portions and the whole family loved it! Favourite middle eastern restaurant now! They make everything super fresh including their OWN fresh out of the oven bread which most places don’t do! The chicken shawarma meal with the in-store cooked pitas that come with the meals are amazing! The labne veggie wrap is humongous and so good!
