We had a nice evening with family, delicious food a great atmosphere we will miss it alot.
Been coming here for years, never disappointed. Even had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was very memorable.5 stars because you deserve it, but also because of your clever come backs to some of the (probably fake) negative reviews you’ve received.
we love the restaurant, delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, t celebrate our Valentine/ Anniversary, the waitress we had was awesome , very friendly , .Thank you will b back again
Go here! Even if you just order and drink and look around. I've never seen a restaurant with this kinda interior. And the food. When my wife said we were going to eat Greek. I was imagining dried, flavour less chicken skewers. And overly saucy egg plant.I was blessed to receive the best eggplant dish I've ever had. The stuff on top was as fluffy as a cloud. The sauce was flavourful but not over powering.Even the rice had some quality that I couldn't quantify (probably fried in some oil)There isn't more the 5 stars. But there should be!
Went with friends to celebrate 2 birthdays. Everyone one of us had a great meal. The service was just as enjoyable. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. Always consistent with great atmosphere and food!
Ordered Grape Leaves dinner. Everything was good EXCEPT... canned green beans??? Really? I expected much better with Everything else being made fresh. Disappointing and certainly NOT up to to standards I expected for top notch Greek food. The Greek salad was ok...but very small compared to competitors such as Nick the Greek which is at least 3 times larger for the same price or less.
We were excited to finally be able to come back to this restaurant after all the Covid restrictions had kept us away. Came with another couple to celebrate a birthday. The waitress was very friendly, but that is where our enjoyment ended. I originally asked for a glass of wine for the two of us but the waitress convinced us that a half carafe would be more economical. We asked multiple times for some bread to go along with it until our food would arrive. That bread finally came some 20 minutes later with our flaming cheese. So far, not so bad. But when we finally got our chicken shish kebob entrees, the skewered chicken was horribly dry and the entire meal was ice cold. Still not going to say anything because we're there to celebrate and will make the most of it. But our meal concluded with their homemade baklava which must have been several months old. The expected flaky pastry tasted like a hard piece of cardboard, and the filling was totally dry. In other words, if you like the picture of this dessert on their menu, that is not what you are going to get. The last straw was a bill that showed a price for the wine that was higher than quoted. I never like it when a restaurant doesn't have a wine/alcohol menu, and the waitress suggested that she wasn't aware of the higher price (despite having worked there for the past 4 years). While she did offer to support the lower price, I just wanted to leave at that point without any drama. I did give her an above average tip, despite our disappointments because I felt for what this and every other restaurant has gone through over the past 2 year. But am writing this review hoping that the owners will take notice. After all, one would think that they would want to put their best foot forwards to help re-promote themselves. Unfortunately, they didn't appear to share that sentiment. Therefore, we most definitely will not be returning.
Wow!! Food was so delicious. I got the Kalamari as appetizer and Chicken shiskabob. It was served with rice, potatoes and green beans. Love it!!
Super quick service..big servings, great lunch prices

Best service, gorgeous interior, and food that will keep you coming back year after year. Thanasi's will always be a family favourite. I highly recommend the flaming appetizers, the signature Perfect Dinner, the Kalamari, the Lamb Chops. Just delicious. Every time.
