The food was very good, the place is very clean and has plenty of space and TVs all around. The service on a Sunday night was a bit lacking because for whatever reason there was only one (overwhelmed) person trying to take care of everyone there - hopefully it’s not an issue other days.

Older pub feel but we like it. Always friendly and comfortable. We used to frequent there before covid to watch hockey. Certain items on menu were good. We recently went back as it is one one of the stops on our burger battle passport. We thoroughly enjoyed our burger and interaction with staff and chef . We will be back! The burger is amazing!

Truly a 'hidden' gem - inside of Sir Richards is where you can find this amazing burger! I was not disappointed! We ended up having to do takeout and let me tell you about this burger which had to wait 15-20min before being eaten and was still crazy good! This massive 1/4 pound lying on a spin dip, topped with cheese, bacon, pickles - and then... they top it off with a mound of coleslaw! It was so good!! Everyone at our table had only positive things to say about it! And the fries were crispy and seasoned well!There is plenty of parking and yes you are in the right place!They are still getting their feet under them but the potential! Our server was great! Price was great!I will definitely be back to try some other delights on their menu!

We tried this place in July and September. The new owner is really trying to give 'er a go. There is music on Friday and Saturday evenings. The Yorkie Burrito is a superior dish on the menu and well worth having. The rest of the food is your average pub fare. The seating is spacious and very comfortable.

possibly the worst meal i've ever had in a restaurant - and i'm pretty old! the liver looked and tasted like it was boiled, the steak and ale pie was not a pie at all, but a bland stew of undercooked potatoes (hard as a rock) and stringy tough meat with lots of gristle. a bit of frozen puff pastry thrown on top. it took 3 sets of cutlery to get a clean knife and fork. the dessert tasted like it was made from a mix you would buy at Giant Tiger. there was only 1 server for the whole place.

Service extremely slow. Took over 90 mins for 2 orders of pickeral 1 shephard's pie and 1 lb chicken wings. Fish and wings were overcooked. Portions were small and disappointing. While the menu indicated wings came with vegetables it came with 2 small carrot sticks and 2 small celery sticks. Cost for meal for 4 with 5 drinks was over $130. Cannot recommend and will not return.

Wine & Ale? I’ve been twice and all they can offer is Jackson Triggs wine in a box! All of the wonderful Essex county wines and they only offer Jackson Triggs!! Not to mention the food was terrible. The soup was like eating hummus and it was cold, same for the nachos, etc. Too many wrongs to be anything but a single star. The kicker was our bill said Spitfire & Firkin on the top, and all of us said, “we wish”
