My favourite restaurant in all of Sandwich Town in Windsor. The service especially from Jay (server/bartender) and Aaron (chef) is the best you can ask for. Fast, friendly, courteous, basically above and beyond!
The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer is to die for, best shrimp dish I’ve ever had. The Benny burger (eggs Benedict burger) is in the top five of best burgers I’ve ever had in my life and the steak sandwich is a force to be reckoned with.
Additionally, there’s lots of parking at the side, lots of seating and big screen TV’s to watch the game. Plus one of the best patios in the warmer weather to enjoy some good food and a cold drink. You gotta try this place next time you’re in the West end of Windsor.

Have been here several times, normally a great experience.
Went last night about 6:30. There was 3 other tables (1 with 6 people, the others just 2). Only 1 other table was eating. We (party of 2) waited 30 minutes for a drink. Had to flag the waiters down to order food. Then waited an hour for food. We then waited 30 minutes after eating for the waitress to come back. We eventually went to the bar area and asked for our bill. We paid, was not given a thank you, apologize for the delay, have a great night, nothing!
Was not a good experience, especially for a Thursday and not being busy.
Hopefully the blonde waitress that was there learns a little more grace with customers.

It was a busy night for the server and cook. They were moving and grooving but made sure we were given the best service. Food was amazing, our server checked on us multiple times. Always impressed with barrel house, especially tonight on a busy night. We have been coming here for years and just want to shout out the staff for being awesome!

Waited 2 hours for food. They served a table of 7 before us. We were there first. Waited and finally asked for it to go because I cant stand the horrible service . The server didnt come back to ask how we were doing. The place is filthy. Bathroom is beyond dirty.

The best Patio in Windsor by far. Staff are amazing. The food is good especially the Bang-Bang shrimp as an app and the mushroom medley sandwich. You also can’t go wrong with any of the burgers. Been there many times and the Barrelhouse has never disappointed.

What a surprise ! Met my friend for lunch here and on first appearance I thought ‘kinda dingy and dark’. After being there for 5 minutes my opinion changed. Firstly the service is quick, friendly and really really good. I have food allergies and the waiter was excellent with dealing with them. The food - WOW !!! I only had a chicken sandwich but honestly it was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had !! Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and don’t even get me started on those fries !!! YUM ! Yum !! I give this place 5stars !!

Wow! First time here and won’t be the last! We had a great experience, arrived before the rush so that really helped. We had bang bang shrimp and onion rings as an appetizer. Everything tasted great. Then we all order a sandwich with taters, sweet potatoes fries and onion rings since they were out of french fries. No complaints at all. Food had so much flavour and the best part is no nuts on the menu so we didn’t have to worry about allergies.
