Great tasting sandwich made fresh as were the fries. A great find in an area you wouldn't expect it. Sandwich was so filling I saved some for lunch the next day.

I found the Carvery through Uber Eats and ordered it for lunch at work. The food was delicious (their taste parings of ingredients are amazing), it was well-portioned and arrived in a timely manner. This will now be my go-to lunch order when working in Windsor!

We found this little treasure by accident. The food and service were excellent and the prices were very reasonable. One of our party of 4 required gluten free and was offered several just as good options. The decor was lacking a bit and we would have enjoyed a coffee or tea beverage option. We definitely would return.

We stopped in to try the place out. Its very unassuming on the outside, but nicely decorated inside. Sandwich was fresh, interesting toppings and very tasty. Soup was homemade and very good. Highly recommend this place.

I used my US dollars here so grabbed a fantastic chicken sandwich for around $8 which was the best value I've had post-pandemic! The chicken was fresh and grilled perfectly, mixed greens, feta, roasted peppers were all fresh and tasted clean! The garlic aoli was some of the best I have ever had and eating at so many NJ delis makes that a rewarding compliment trust me đ I highly recommend the tomato soup as it was herby and seasoned with the chicken sandwich đ

Been coming here for years.
Great sandwiches remain consistent.
Had porchetta sandwich today and it was as excellent as prior various soups and sandwiches as on prior visits.

Super fresh ingredients. Great portion sizes. Affordable.
But most importantly: crazy delicious đ
My spouse at here exclusively while on a work assignment.
I tried it after we relocated and its really good.
Space is clean and there is chill jazz in the background. I wish more establishments took themselves this seriously well done.

Delicious food at great prices. Our group tried a ribeye sandwich, two different poutines, and a cheeseburger. All was wonderful.

As a long time Carvery lover, I need to express my frustration. We ordered Skip the Dishes for a work lunch. First time ever using Skip. We had a decent sized order and had selected the 3 of your ½ sandwich with 2 sides options, put in the comments what the sides would be. Placed order and waited.
I received an email from a Mary at Skip advising that it would be an additional $32.00 to accommodate the sides, we requested that the sides be 2 fries with tomato soups, and then a side salad with a fry to go along with our ½ sandwiches. HOW could the sides be an additional $32? I understand thereâs an upcharge for the salad, but weâve ordered this combo option before and never paid this much.
I got onto the Skip chat and spoke with someone who didnât help, they just said they couldnât accommodate and arenât authorized to charge for the additional costs. I asked if would be refunded as we werenât getting some of our sides, he said no and just kept asking âis there anything else I can assist you with today?â. At this point we were under the impression that we would be getting some sides, but not all for the combos.
When our food arrived, it had no sides, I called and spoke with a younger gentleman, who advised that Skip the dishes told them I authorized no sides.
I tried explaining that we chose the ½ sandwich and 2 sides option, the Carvery worker said itâs not an option on the Skip website and I should have just called. Frustrated, I replied, âHow am I supposed to know that Skip wonât accommodate whatâs on the website, Iâm not a mind reader?â. The worker replied âthatâs what Skip told us to doâ I explained that NO one called me, and I was stuck on a pointless chat until our order showed up.
Paid for the ½ sandwiches and 2 sides- didnât receive any sides, no one would even try to rectify the error (skipâs fault or not for not accommodating the combo options on your site) and the worker was super unapologetic. We now donât have enough food for a work team building lunch.
