Was craving a sandwich, saw the sign on Wyandotte, first time trying. Ordered the Porchetta sandwich an OMG it was amazing. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had!! Daughter had a grilled cheese and loved it too. Will most definitely be going back for that sandwich!!! ??

I had been soo looking forward to this experience for 2 years now, as I heard so many great things about this restaurant. Sadly, when I finally got there on December 28, 2023 I was Very, Very DISAPPOINTED. Not at all what I expected. I dined over Lunch with a coworker who absolutely felt the same way. Needless to say either one of us were impressed. Prices were High even for half sandwiches & the soup was cold. Did this business recently change hands⁉️ This is the Lowest Google Review I have ever submitted. We will NOT be back & I told them that too on the way out the door. $5.19 for a half Grilled Cheese + an EXTRA $6.00 to make it into a Soup Combo? FML...The Only Good thing about it was the Eska Bottled Water and you can get that anywhere for much cheaper. Should have cost way less than the $12.64 I spent that day - Tax Included. It is a great place if you want half or full sandwitch and soup. Great variety, very fresh ingredients and really fast. I got the blackened fish half sandwitch a yam chipotle soup and my daughter got ger favorite grilled cheese half sandwitch and poutine. Both meals were on the table with under 10 minutes and very delicious. We always go back to the Carvery.
Got the big veg sandwich and roast tomato soup. The soup was seasoned to perfection, sandwich was tasty and creative, not to mention aesthetically pleasing. Nice casual place to stop and get lunch if you're walking/driving down Wyandotte.

The blackened fish sandwich is our favorite. It has the perfect amount of spice and the fish is so juicy…in fact be prepared for some to drip out of the wrapper (ask me how I know). Other ones we have tried are herb chicken, veg, porchetta and pulled pork. All are good. This place is a hidden gem. No wonder it has been around all these years. Hope they stick around because the food is good and prices are reasonable.
