Service was amazing. After reading the reviews I had high expectations, unfortunately, we were disappointed in the calamari and steak. Both tasted burnt, we couldn’t even taste the flavour of the steak at all because the burnt taste over powered. Didn’t even ask for a refund, but waste of time and money just to pay for service and bread.

Visited The Cook's Shop for my wife's birthday and had a wonderful experience. Carlos was our server—attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening.
For the appetizer, I had the grilled calamari. It was perfectly tender and came with two sauces: one layered beneath the squid and another served on the side, both adding great flavor contrast.
For the main course, I chose the scaloppine piccata. The risotto it came with was creamy, rich, and packed with mushrooms—absolutely delicious.

Start to finish, it was a great experience. Attentive staff, flavourful food and drink, and excellent dessert choices. Perfect spot for a casual dinner or a date night. Looking forward to the next visit. We started with some bread and bruschetta, the beef tartar for our appetizer, each had a pasta dish for our mains, a carbonara and a bolognese, and finished it off with a cheesecake. Enjoyed some drinks as well. 100% will return to try something different!
Had a dinner date with my girlfriend on the 13th. It was her first time visiting Windsor. My first time back in years. Dinner was amazing. Our server was fantastic and we took her advice and went to On A Roll for drinks after dinner!

Always been a huge fan and still am. The food and service were top notch but the manager playing on his laptop in the dining room definitely detracted from the ambiance. Would have stayed at 5 stars if not for that.

Very disappointed that, after having my reservation on their books for two months, they call me to cancel it because they decided to take holidays! Beware and always have a back up plan, especially if it's for a special occasion or you're traveling from four hours out of town. Unavailable and unacceptable!

It's been quite some time since Spencer has taken over and he has made some changes and they have all been to improve the quality, which was already good under Lino.
