My friend ordered a rum cake to bring for Thanksgiving dinner and while the cake looked beautiful it didn't taste beautiful. It was not good and very disappointing. No one enjoyed it and we ended up throwing it away.
We placed a Hot Wheels cake for my son's birthday, and they made it exactly how we wanted. Have been buying cakes from here for many years. They have by far the best cake. You feel like you want to keep on eating

My son turned 23 a week ago, but he is going to school out of town and I wasn't sure when he'd be home so we could celebrate. I had very little time to put together his birthday dinner and requested dessert. I called a couple of locations, looking for a reasonably fresh Black Forest cake and The Pastry Place & Bake Shop had one. I drove down there and picked it up, and had a pleasant exchange with the young lady working behind the counter. The dinner was beautiful...
