I visited during the evening hours of the weekdays and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. She explained to me the Korean menu besides sushi and Japanese. The dishes I ordered were pretty and delicious. The atmospheric music played quietly in the restaurant and the hall staff checked the table from time to time, allowing me to have a comfortable and pleasant meal. It was a very satisfying meal. I will visit again.

I've been going to this sushi place for years. Initially I was worried the new ownership would take away the only sushi place I like in Windsor. However, they improved it. From the presentation of the food, to the taste of the food everything is better. I also really enjoy how lately they have been brining out samples of their unreleased items to try. It's things like that that make you feel like you're eating at a Michelin restaurant. The only thing that's missing is then keeping a CRM of your name and your preferences and greeting you by name at the door. allergic to mushrooms? Oh we have it in your file. Plus it's a fraction of the price at roughly $15 a roll.

I visited California Sushi a month ago to celebrate my husband's birthday. I haven't stopped bragging about the quality and taste since. The shrimp tempura was perfect, and I could drink the sauce that comes with it. Our Shumai was so delightful and flavourful. We ordered a few different rolls, all so fresh and delicious. The service!! Fantastic!! Our server was kind, perfectly attentive, and made us feel welcomed. I can't wait to order my lunch tomorrow. My taste buds will thank me.

We were impressed with the amount of rolls we got for the price! The sushi was decent-- we really liked the caterpillar roll, but the others were nothing special. Service and food took a while, but the server explained that they were down a cook, and they gave us complimentary miso! I would go back.
I had the honeymoon and black dragon roll and both were amazing! Everything was fresh, cold and ready when I got there. Definitely a downtown staple and my go-to for delicious sushi! :)

This is THE BEST sushi I have had in my extensive travels! Everything was fresh, rich in flavor, and overall delicious! Service was excellent, restaurant was very clean, staff went above and beyond! They shared with us that they recently opened under new management last month. We ordered the tuna Tataki, the sashimi appetizer, and the Chirashi Don. The next time we are in town, we will absolutely be stopping here!
