The conference I was attending at Caesar’s Palace did not offer meaningful vegan options so I ducked out to nearby Thyme Kitchen. They serve breakfast and lunch, and their breakfast option is available as long as they’re open. I got the vegan breakfast to go, and I appreciated The rice and beans and tofu along with the fresh tomato and fresh fruit. I didn’t specifically request condiments, so my shredded potatoes and toast were plain, but otherwise everything was pretty good.
Great all-day breakfast, great coffee and terrific service from Monique. A rare little jewel of a spot in Downtown Windsor.

The vegan avocado BLT is very good. They nailed making bacon out of coconut!

Very solid and tasty vegan options, I like having breakfast/brunch here with friends. Seating could be more comfortable (metal chairs with a smaller bucket seat) but the environment is still cute, a charming downtown cafe spot. Servers are sweet, and I have never waited long dor food even with a fuller house. I recommend the vegan bowls and breakfast wraps, vibrant and tasty food. Prices feel reasonable for the freshness and goodness of the food, I spend 16-18 on vegan breakfast options but there are cheaper options, and then coffee and tip, it's pretty good. Very solid I have been back 4 5 times now.

Being from out of town it is always terrific to find a great restaurant that keeps you coing back. Thyme Kitchen has a menu with a worldly flavour and many homemade products to take home. The owner has created a local haven. Service by Monique is always with a great smile and great attention to any and all of your requests.

As I laid in bed pondering the mysteries of life, like why the bride's grandfather and I decided to empty the bar of strawberry daiquiris last night, I was rudely awoken by a glaring companion. Apparently, I was supposed to be up bright and early for a picturesque waterfront stroll in the sweltering Canadian summer heat. Instead, we ended up at Thyme Kitchen for breakfast, a place recommended by some blurry memory from the night before.
Stepping into the cool embrace of air-conditioning, we were quickly seated at a quiet table with the magical disappearing and reappearing water jug. Our waitress appeared taking our drink order, I settled for water while my companion opted for an Iced Latte, slightly less annoyed at my tardiness now that we were in the air-conditioned bliss.
After perusing the menu, we both settled on eggs benedict with our own unique twists. I went for a BLT-inspired version with thick bacon, tomato, and lettuce, while she chose the smoked salmon eggs benedict that looked just as tempting. We chatted and lingered over our meal, turning breakfast into a leisurely brunch.
Thyme Kitchen turned out to be a delightful breakfast spot with a variety of options, friendly service, and delicious food. I'd definitely come back if I weren't skipping town tomorrow at the crack of dawn.

I love this place! The vegan breakfast wasn’t a greasy mess like I’ve had at other restaurants, it was delicious healthy whole foods and my body felt so great after! Absolutely delicious. Fast friendly service. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-21
