A charming little place that has managed to stay open for well over half a century, which means that they know what they're doing. The food was wonderful and came out quickly, and the server was polite and thoughtful, offering us sour cream without us asking. We have the cabbage rolls and pierogies, with cabbage soup and chicken noodle soup. Amazing.
NOTE: they only take cash. No credit or debit.
One star off of atmosphere for two reasons. One, they need to repair at least one of their booths, as the back was coming off of the one I was sitting at. Two, for some odd reason, they turned on a TV that showed an infomercial for a joint pain remedy from the USA. Not the kind of thing you really want to see/watch when eating. It would have been better to leave it turned off. Better, play some traditional Slavic music.

Unbelievable experience. Stepped back into the early 70’s for authentic and delicious Central European fare reminiscent of our trips to Prague and Budapest. Hearty portions prepared just as our grandparents would have. This place should be packed. What a hidden gem! Anna is incredible. Had the borscht, cabbage rolls, roast pork, roast chicken and sausage with caraway at this almost century old establishment.
