Hidden gem in Windsor. Amazing home cooked Ukrainian food served by an elderly women who is now over 90 years-old. The food is excellent and the owner is such a dear. It’s cash only and extremely good value. Dinner is $12. You should go right now.
Like going to Baba's. It's not a typical restaurant experience but the food is so worthwhile. The perogies (boiled) were good and hearty. The cabbage rolls were perfect! Loaded with filling & well cooked.
For an authentic experience, you must check this place out. ANNA bought the place in 68 and has been running it since. At 91, she's the real deal. Its rustic, full of history and charm that is unparalleled and will disappear. She's a lovely lady, food is fresh, filling and delicious.
