This has to be one of the most spacious, well decorated, and nicest looking tap rooms/breweries I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Lots of seating, and some of the most delicious beer I’ve ever tasted. Especially that Rob Roy scotch ale and the vanilla espresso porter.
The service was quick and very friendly thanks to Michelle working the bar and Natalie, the General Manager. Anybody looking for a great beer and a great experience in Windsor, Ontario needs to visit the Walkerville Brewery
I’ve tried going here several times before but found it closed at 7pm during the week (what city based brewery closes at 7?) and I’d arrived after last call, I had no problem with this, my bad. Tonight, I walked 40 mins there and arrived at 6:30pm only to be told they closed at 6pm for an event, even though the closing times on the door and Google were 7pm.
Tried to plead my case but they refused to let me sit at the bar and have a drink.
I love the Honest Lager (which is why I gave it 3 stars) but I’m tired of trying to get a pint here.
It was a great experience. The flight or 4 was good, and egg rolls were great. It had a great vibe and even had a local book, craft, and pastry show was going on inside. Some history was on the walls as you walk in. Place seemed clean and employees very friendly and helpful.
Great service! Nice comfortable seating. Lots of room. Lots of different beer on tap.
This place is huge staff is great and the snack bar food is really good
And can’t go wrong with the beers
I would sure come back here next time I am in town
We visited from Detroit because I had seen the Walkerville Night Market on social media. This was actually my second time at the night market but first time getting food/drink at the brewery.
The night market was amazing and had a great turn out. Because of that, there was a line to get in, a line for beer, and a line for bathrooms.
The brewery itself is huge. They had a good selection of beers and the staff were really friendly.
We were really disappointed with the food which is why I knocked one star off. We walked to the “snack bar” and as I was ordering my pizza, I noticed a huge stack of frozen plastic wrapped pizzas behind the counter. It dawned on me that everything they served was frozen, nothing made fresh in house. I feel like this is a huge lost opportunity considering the amount of space they have here. They could make sandwiches, burgers, or even have pop up kitchens from local food vendors….. instead of serving frozen pizza I could have got at the grocery store. We were hungry so we ate it, but in hindsight, I wish we would have purchased food from one of the vendors outside. I probably won’t be buying food here if I come back again.
Other than that- super cool brewery with lots of community events and we hope to visit again soon.
I love Walkerville Brewery. Definitely one of my top favourites in the Windsor-Essex area. The staff is awesome, the place is always clean and nicely decorated. The staff are awesome and always ready to serve you with a smile. Me and my girlfriend try to go out as much as possible to their Friday night run club events. Dub City Runners with Dave, Kosta, Julie, and Isabella are amazing. The reward is even better with a tasty beer or cider. You can find them on Instagram and Facebook. Highly recommend if you are in the area and want to stop for a drink!
Good beer, better staff! Kellie, Niki and Alex go above and beyond to take great care of our run club week after week and the food and entertainment is always amazing!
Hated the experience — the worst I’ve ever had. I didn’t even get to sip of beer. First, they refused to serve me a tasting flight with four different kinds. So I grabbed a can from the fridge to-go. Since 12 of my friends were sitting outside on the patio, I joined them and opened my beer.
But before I could even try, the waitress suddenly appeared behind me, snatched the beer from my hand, and ran back inside the bar. I was stunned. When I went inside to understand what had just happened, she told me that to-go beers are not allowed to be consumed on the patio.
Okay, fair enough — but they shouldn’t be snatched out of a customer’s hand. They refused to give me my money back or replace the beer. I felt wronged and embarrassed in front of my friends.
Needless to say, they lost more than one customer that day.
Besides - Food is lower than average, frozen food, with and not good deeps, if you want to be served you have to order in the bar, and if you want to taste the beer go to LCBO.
Service was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

We were very much looking forward to try their beer with food but were disappointed as we walked in around 6pm on Wednesday and were told that they only serve food on Thursday to Sunday!!!
Like a german brewery. Try the beer with maple moose, a new experience.
Enjoyed the Maple Moose brown ale. Great service, fun atmosphere beaming with local and Canadian pride, live music, cool selection of retail items.
I'm not a beer drinker but stopped here to buy some beer for others & see the place. Very nice place with friendly service.
Crowded, no food menu, only 5 pizza frozen. Overrated
