Okay, I’m not a person who usually leaves reviews but this one is a MOST. Windsor Palace is a restaurant that is very pleasant and I usually dine in once a year. This year, is probably the worst year I’ve dined in. First off, I wanna note that I used to go to the one on Wyandotte but realized this one is closer to me. I started going here but this is worse then the one on Wyandotte but I bet they’re both bad now since they’re probably owned by the same people. I went with family like I usually do and got seated, the waitresses were okay, but it looked like they didnt give a crap about me. There was one waitress that was nice and smiling but the other two looked like they were only there for a paycheque. Service was really bad because it took 2 Hours just to get my food when the restaurant didn’t even have 3 tables barely. Keep in mind I was not in a big family, I was only there with a family of 4. Then when I asked for when I was getting the food they told me it was just coming out but it never did, it took 20-30 minutes after they said that. I was almost ready to leave. Now the worst part wasn’t the service, it was the food, the food was just straight bad, small, and overpriced. The food used to be better, I don’t know what happened back there, and the garlic sauce also somehow got worse. Then the portion sizes were reduced to rubble and now even the price up +$6.
This is ridiculous, and good luck finding me anywhere near this establishment again.
Now the owner will probably respond to this review in a negative way, not willing to own up to anything, good thing I came to this establishment a couple months ago and never will come again.
Thank you

Come and try it, you will love Mid East food from that moment. Really good size of food for fair price and good taste. Good service and nice view of street when dining inside. There are two different lobbies and also booths area. Definitely worth checking it out.

Dishes:
lamb leg on rice is my personal favourite
Kabobs are very worth trying, lamb and beef are all tasting fresh and very tender.
Shawarma is very delicious.

First time here, visiting from Toronto. Family member recommended this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Great service and the food was delicious and fresh. I will definitely revisit again soon.

The best Lentil Soup, in the city! The kindest owners! Everything is good, and fresh. This wonderful restaurant has been a go to place for Middle Eastern Food in our city for many years! With good reason. Five stars!

Food was okay service is horrible and they force you to pay 15% tip and they try to scam you to pay tip twice plus they charge you for using machine to pay so initially you pay for their merchant charges instead of them be ready to pay 30$+ in charges and tip
