my friend and I were very excited to go get food and drinks, we were very disappointed with the customer service and food. our server didn't check on our table once and only took our food order, he didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink and we waited 40 minutes for 2 pastas while the restaurant was empty. the pasta was bland and lobster was over cooked. I do not recommend going unless you want to take cute pictures.
This place is really nice and the staff is great. I found it to be really expensive for small portions of food. The appetizers especially are all over 15 dollars and are really small. The pizza is okay value, I would probably just get that next time.
We’ve done birthday events at Wineology’s rooftop for years, but this time was extremely disappointing. We booked the rooftop weeks in advance and paid a set amount for a private event, spending thousands of dollars. Everything was confirmed with the owner, JC, ahead of time.
On the day of, JC acted like he was doing us a favour by opening on Easter, even though he was the one who chose and confirmed the date. That was never something we requested.
During the event, a large group of uninvited people were let into our private party, claiming JC allowed them in. Our server, Alexa, didn’t manage the situation, and even after we asked the group to leave, they refused. JC later said they went behind their back, but regardless, our private event was not respected.
Alexa also missed people’s orders, allowed the uninvited guests to stay simply because she was friends with them, and even brought them a bottle of wine to share. She spent time chatting with them instead of focusing on the guests who were actually part of the event. She was also rude when we asked to use our own speaker, even though we had confirmed this beforehand.
On top of that, she didn’t want to cut the cake (something staff have always helped with in past years) and multiple food items were missed entirely. We ended up having to cut and serve the cake ourselves.
When we brought up all these concerns to JC, he offered no solutions and just repeated that he was doing us a favour by opening, again, a decision he made, not us.
After years of supporting this place for birthdays, we left feeling disrespected and extremely disappointed. We will not be returning to this location and would recommend hosting your events somewhere you’ll be treated with the respect and professionalism you deserve.
I visited Winology yesterday for a birthday celebration. While the evening started off fine, it ended on a disappointing note. A group of uninvited guests joined the reserved party and started ordering drinks on the birthday girl’s tab without her permission. When the issue was brought to the bartender Alexa, instead of addressing it professionally, she sided with the uninvited guests, claiming it was fine because the manager let them upstairs.
It was really disappointing to see a staff member dismiss the concerns of a paying customer so easily. Situations like this deserve better handling and respect for the guests who actually booked the space.
Aside from that, a few of the guests did not recieve their pizza for over an hour after everyone else, although ordering at the same time, which left them hungry and tired.
The waitress Sabrina was excellent and the food was really good it was my first time at wineology to celebrate with some colleagues and I would definitely go again.
Amazing food and service! ❤️
Huge thanks to Wineology for their generous donation to our raffle fundraiser in support of a close friend battling cancer. When I stopped by, the supervisor shared that she had faced a similar cancer scare herself (the same one our friend is currently battling). She called the owner, who didn’t hesitate for a second to say yes to donating. It was a powerful moment where you really feel the heart behind a local business. Their kindness and support meant so much, and we’re truly grateful to have businesses like Wineology in our community.
Went to walkerville this weekend,
I've been there a couple times now and there's this young male dj and he's amazing but we haven’t seen him there recently — the atmosphere is not the same but still a great spot for a night out!
Always love the pizza from here, and they have the best chilli oil I've ever tried! Would love to get a couple bottles of their chilli oil to take home if I could!
Every single time I have been here, it has been impossible to actually get served or order something. You guys need better management… seriously.

Late night reservation, the place was packed.
The peaches on pizza here were surprisingly great. Best pizza I've had for a very long time.
Pizza was delicious, we ordered the Michelle and ingredients were fresh and the crust was the perfect thickness and was cook to crisp but not over cooked. Their wine list is extensive and they offer flights as well. Would definitely go back.
Music there is some hot ass
The pizza was outstanding. I had Alex's special.. the drizzle of honey and prosciutto with walnuts...absolutely delicious. Service was excellent.
