I am from Oshawa and went to the Castings pub ( Dec 15) to see ( weekend never ends, Great band and friendly bunch) i was there with some local friends and ordered the wings and fries combo. Those were the best wings and fries that I have had in a very very long time . I got to speak to the young lady that cook my meal and told her what an amazing job she did ! Be proud of yourself! Damn great wings , perfectly cooked, moist and perfectly sauced. I should teach you how to char grill wings . One executive chef to a future chef in the making .

Tried Castings new menu items: The perch was delicate with a creamy sauce, fettucine with steak was hearty and delicious and I enjoyed the warm german potato side. Service is always friendly.

Feeling hungry for a bite to eat, read the reviews that were all positive, so my wife and i stopped in. So glad we did. What a jem of a place, great atmosphere, staff friendly and the food was delicious. Tasty ribs and wings for me, turkey wrap for my wife. Not a scrap left on the plates. We will be back again, maybe on a night they have some entertainment going on

I love the decor and the variety of music that was playing. My friends treated me to brunch. They go here often and I totally understand why. I ordered the chicken and waffles. They were perfect. Good portions, fresh, juicy and crispy chicken, well seasoned, light and fluffy waffles, sweet whipped cream and decent coffee. Our server was awesome, attentive while not being intrusive. I'd definitely go back. August 31 2024 we went back. I went with the blueberry brie burger with double fried fries and my wife ordered buttermilk fried chicken (dill) with roasted red pepper soup. I wanted to try their wings but they were sold out. This will be our regular stop whenever we are in town.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant! We came from lunch and it was absolutely amazing all around! Great service, lots of both drink and menu options and the BEST SWEET POTATO FRIES I’ve ever had!

They charge you for refills on pop and club soda, very disappointing. The server just offers the refills without informing you of the charge. After voicing this, the server offered no fix. Poor customer service skills
