We visited this restaurant today. Both food and service was great. Neither my husband or I have ever tried Balkan food before but we were exited to try it. Both the cabbage rolls and the bulkan burger was amazing. Will definitely be back

Just a wonderful independently owned place doing great Bosnian food. The ćevap were just delicious, with a great sear from a flat-top and the bread…oh man. Had to be baked in house, I feel. It was so fresh and delicious. The sarma and paprike were also just delicious with a homemade taste. I would not hesitate to eat anything on their menu.

STOP what you are doing right now and go eat here, go right away!
Really, really good ethnic food. I love cabage rolls and these were fantastic - very unique flavour. The Chevapi is simply too good to put down - take a bite wrapped in bread and topped with onions and cheese mmmmmmmmmm.

Wonderful hidden gem in Woodstock!
The food was so tasty and the owner is incredibly kind and personable.
Would definitely recommend the ćevapi, the meat was incredibly juicy and delicious. Would also recommend checking out their desserts especially the krempita.

Balkan Eats is a fantastic hidden gem in Woodstock and *SO* happy that we stopped in for lunch while passing through. The restaurant give us great memories of our last trip to Bosnia where we fell in love with the food. We felt like we were back in Sarajevo or Mostar (loved the large Mostar picture on the wall).

We enjoyed the stuffed peppers and the cevapi, alone with the friendly service. I really hope that more from the Woodstock area give Balkan Eats a try, as I feel like many don't know what they are missing. It sure beats the McDonald's across the street.

We will be stopping into Balkan Eats again the next time we are driving through the Woodstock area (see you in the fall).

The food is amazing. The kebab was tender and juicy and melt in your mouth. The bread seemed fresh and with the juices from the meat and onions was just heavenly. The snitzel tasted good but was tough to chew. I'd have preferred it to be tender. The host was warm and welcoming and attentive. The interiors was not much to talk about but not bad either. All in all a good experience.

I had the 10 cevapi with lepinje and Turkish coffee. The lepinje was homemade and made perfectly, the cevapi was delicious. The coffee was also very good, traditional Turkish style.
They also make their own kajmac, lepinje and cevapi that you can purchase frozen to take home.
