Ordered the Szechwan chicken combo and Szechwan beef combo from this restaurant. While the combos were great in terms of quantity, I was disappointed as the food turned out to be too sweet instead of the anticipated spiciness. Additionally, though the spring rolls and chicken balls were plentiful, the taste of the rice and gravy fell short. I'll give it another try, hoping for a better balance of flavors next time.
I honestly do NOT understand the low ratings for Fu Lok. My family and I for years have been coming here and they are hands down the best Chinese in Woodstock. How China wok has a higher rating than Fu lok is absolutely beyond me. Take the negative reviews lightly, those people have no idea what good real Chinese food tastes like. Fu Lok provides quality food with ample quantity and caring service. Our Chinese restaurant of choice.Ying provided food after my dad's funeral on a day that the restaurant was scheduled to be closed. She cares for her customers and always greats you with a smile.
