I just found out about local roots cafe and south gate centre last week and I have already ordered meals twice now. I am so appreciative of their delivery option as I do not drive and have 2 little kids at home. The meals are delicious, reasonably priced, and the portion sizes are good. When an error was made on my first order, they made it right on my next order, over and above. Thank you staff and delivery drivers (such kind ladies!) for this amazing service and the amazing, healthy meals. It has certainly made my life a bit easier these two weeks.

Local Roots has great food options! I have had the fresh lunch, the frozen individual meals and the special event meals. I'm always impressed with the quality of the food, the price for what you get and the service. The curbside pickup is quick and easy. The freezer meals are great for single professionals -- you can get a single serving of food you wouldn't otherwise make for yourself. Highly recommend.

I ordered some freezer meals for my parents- they LOVED them!!! Perfect portion sizes and great quality!! They’re putting together a list to load the freezer now!! P.S. I kept a Christmas Dinner in July turkey meal for myself- DELICIOUS!!!

Kids love their dill pickles French fries and ofcourse icecream. Big selection of icecream. Good place to stop by if you in the park but not open in the winter.
