Once you get Marks, you don't go anywhere else!! I love the lobby full of plants(im a plant lady)...and that's not even talking about the food lol! Best chicken balls ever and the chicken fried rice is amazing!!! Highly recommend...and the owner and staff are super friendly, which is not as common anymore so I will spend my money happily here lol!
Marks has amazing food and become my go to restaurant. They give out such good food recommendations and have amazing service. They are always so pleasant over the phone as well as walk in. The food is also very reasonably priced. I totally recommend supporting this local family owned business.
Called here today to inquire about their dinner for 2 prices. When he told me the price I asked why the price was a lot higher than Uber Eats price. I know they charge 20% different from what I have been told but their dinner for 2 price is almost $50 on Uber eats. The guy who answered was VERY rude and Belligerant swearing at me on the phone. I honestly couldn't believe it. When I asked when the owner was in he again started being aggressive yelling and swearing at me and saying is that all you got? When he was started yelling at me I started recording the conversation. The second time I asked when the owners were in he hung up on me. Little does he know I have dealt with the owers and have ordered there many times. The owners have actually personally delivered to me. I won't be ordering from them ever again and will be filing a complaint against them.
Ordered the satay noodles $16.45. It had no satay flavour to it at all, it was so tasteless, like they forgot the sauce. There was also no egg in it.
Really disappointed ☹️
The best service and food I’ve ever had. The family who owns it is so friendly and professional. Definitely my go-to place whenever I’m in town!
Best asian food around! Amy is amazing. 10/10 would recommend!
Best place in town for Asian noodle dishes. Biggest chicken balls I’ve ever seen! A Woodstock hidden gem 💎
First time trying Mark’s and let me tell you, we loved it. The young boy who took our order was very polite and helpful. Food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be returning.
Got takeout for a night in… First time trying it and it was amazing! I can’t wait to try other menu items next time we order!

I’ve been eating here for 20+ years easily the best Chinese food in Woodstock always hot fresh and delicious. Highly recommend ordering here. The owner Mark is an absolute treat.! Super pleasant and professional
My family has been a long time customer over 25 years and even when we used to dine in. Food was always flavourful and always fresh. We’ve always enjoyed the chicken balls and Cantonese chow mein among other items. Lately the chicken balls are all dough and very tiny piece of chicken. Used to be a bigger piece so the ratio was perfect. Marks has changed the noodles in the Cantonese chow mein to a thicker noodle like spaghetti as well as 75% of the vegetables were just onions now. I thought maybe it was just a one time think but as of last nights order it again was the same for 3rd time in a row. I’m sorry to see a wonderful restaurant go down in quality that it’s always provided. I’ll have to try others now. Thanks for all the previous goodness. Take care
Food is fantastic but the service has gone downhill. The person answering the phone is rude, cuts you off when talking, and basically seems annoyed that you've called. What happened to the older gentleman who used to answer the phone to take orders and actually took a beat to listen to his customers? He was friendly, let you talk and place your order, and remembered your name. Despite the food being great, the customer service has turned me off indefinitely. I won't support a business where staff are rude to customers who have been frequenting their business for 20+ years.
Tonight I called to place a pick up order. I asked for two meals and a side of rice, I was told it would be $49. I said, "Actually, nevermind, cancel that order. Sorry about that". The employee had the audacity to responded with, "You can't wait 25 minutes for food??". I replied, "No, it's not the wait, it's because I can't pay 50 dollars for two meals". He hung up on me. The food seems overpriced for the quality and the staff is rude. I'll go elsewhere.
Edit: after reading a few reviews about mark's blocking people I checked today and my number is blocked lol this is the craziest "customer service" I have ever experienced.
I ate mark's with my family for thanksgiving. It was the great! I requested they do the vegetables super well done for my mother and she loved them!!
