I recently visited Sunset Grill and was extremely disappointed with the service. Despite waiting for an extended period, my presence was completely ignored by the staff. Other patrons who arrived after me were promptly attended to, while I was left unattended.
After attempting to get the attention of the servers multiple times without success, I had no choice but to leave without placing an order. This experience was both frustrating and disheartening. I expect a basic level of courtesy and attention in any dining establishment, and unfortunately, Sunset Grill failed to meet even these minimal expectations.
I hope the management addresses these service issues to prevent future customers from experiencing similar neglect.RACIST

My boyfriend and I went to sunset grill for the first time and we were seated within a minute but we waited for 30 minutes for someone to take our order before we decided to leave when we saw two other couples that arrived after us but got their tables served within 10 minutes. We don’t want to throw “racism allegations” but it makes you think since we were the only brown couple there.

The staff and food were great. Problem is if you dine in and someone opens the door, half the restaurant gets to pretty much eat outside... the cold air, snow or rain get sucked into the restaurant... and by the time u warm up and get sheltered by the elements... someone else leaves or walks in... other than that, I'd order take out from here.

If I could rate Sunset Grill in Woodstock, ON less than 1 star, I would. I attended the Woodstock location this morning, and it was awful. Our server did not check on my boyfriend and I as most of the servers were huddled in a circle. A man who I assume was the manager was taking waitresses one by one for a few minutes and did not seem concerned that they had tables to wait on.
A couple who had just sat near us had ordered just a few minutes after us and received the wrong breakfast.. The gentleman seemed quite upset but stuck with eating what he was served with. Oh, did I mention it was my eggs Benedict he got? Yeah. There were 3 tables at that time, including mine, that that waitresses were accountable for.
Once we were finished eating and drinking our coffee from a disgusting mug (getting to that part), we waited. And waited. And waited. And WAITED for the waitress, someone. Anyone. To come give us our bill so we could leave.
The coffee cup? Ha. I hope you all put my boyfriend and I in your thoughts and rethink attending this establishment. Lipstick was on one of our mugs - and no, it was not mine. It was absolutely disgusting. I gave another waitress a heads up that we were not impressed, showed her the mug, etc.so they could be more cautious.
Yes, it's Covid, and we went for breakfast, but I'd be just as disgusted and disappointed with the uncleanliness and unprofessional aspects of this breakfast joint.

Great breakfast! Hash browns were very fresh and seasoned to perfection, service was super fast and the eggs + sausage were cooked just right. Top notch service from Terri-- I will definitely stop in here again when I'm in the area.
