We stopped at Honey’s twice in one week after a rainy morning in the bush. The food was warm and filling, just what was needed after being wet and cold. There was plenty of space for our group of five and the service was great.

Thought I would try to support a local business so I stopped in for breakfast. On my way up to the cottage, the food was below average and the prices were ridiculous. It was over $20 for two pancakes two eggs and two sausages. The sausages in the pancakes had been sitting and the eggs were average at best. I am sure they charge five dollars for a cup of coffee that is below average. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, WOULD NEVER GO BACK.

We had breakfast here today after camping in Kawharta Highlands. Food, service and atmosphere were really good, absolutely recommend this place! The restaurant is easily accessible from highway 28.

We went there on our way back to Toronto, sat in the patio, enjoyed the sunny weather and great food. Our server was super nice and friendly which made our experience more pleasant.
We ordered the beef sandwich which was their special meal of the day and also ordered the burger with eggs. Both liked our food very much!

Before or after a camping trip to the Kawarthas this is a must visit for the family. Great fish and chips, fast service, run by a wonderful family. If the kids eat all their meal, the owner is very generous and will give them some treats. Try the potato wedges!
