Someone said hello as soon as I walked in, and gave me suggestions with the menu. They were friendly and the food was made fresh + quick. Was still piping hot after a 15 min drive. Delicious, large chicken balls at an awesome price! Thanks Sunshine fam!

Battered Shrimp was terrible. All batter and very little shrimp. The rest of the food was fine but not exceptional. Near end of the meal I discovered a bug crawling on my plate. We complained and the owner said it was a fly…… but no way. It looked like a small roach and did not fly!. Owner offered a 10% discount. I don’t think we will be returning!!

I’ve been to fancy restaurants this isn’t it…it’s a old house used as a restaurant with no updates but its cozy. This is family operated and they’re very nice people. If you’re craving Chinese food you won’t get better than this any where close. With that said I ordered battered shrimp and fried spring rolls with Cantonese fried noodles and fried rice. The portions are big see below my rating for each item I ordered.Veg Spring 0Battered shrimp: 7/10Cantonese fried noodles: 8/10Fried rice: 6/10Of course I would eat here again…if you want spice add sriracha, if you want extra flavour order items with meat and add soya or sweet sour sauce. Caution: Not Halal.

We spent the day in Grand Bend and wanted to get away from crowds for dinner. The food was fresh, piping hot and well seasoned. The restaurant is eclectic and has beautiful paintings scattered throughout. Large portions and totally worth the drive from the beach.

Very bland , not authentic Chinese food . They charge way to much for food that tastes like nothing and isn't even cooked properly. So if you want crunchy rice and the opposite of what you order then it's the place for you

Should have known better when I arrived and took note that I was the only person in the place at meal time. Live and learn. In a nutshell, this place is in the running for the worst Chinese/Canadian food I've ever tasted in my six decades of life. Incredibly almost mysteriously bland. I mean seriously, how do you mess up fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls? Ate roughly a quarter of what was presented, just couldn't do it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I’m sorry but it’s the absolutely worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I really don’t get the reviews. The general Tao chicken was boiled pieces of chicken with a very very disgusting sauce. My daughter who is 2 and eats everything, made a sour face when I gave her the lo Mein and she only had that 1 spoon. I had a few bites and threw out the rest. It’s important to note that I’ve never threw out food just like that in my entire life. How these guys are open for business is beyond me.
