Two years ago, while searching for a new place to live, my fiancé and I stumbled into this restaurant. It instantly became the best dining experience either of us had ever had—but we couldn’t remember the name or exact location afterward. Recently, we tracked it down from an old photo and made the 3.5-hour drive just to eat here again, and it was every bit worth it.

The service was top-notch. I don’t recall his name, but our server with the curly hair was attentive, quick with refills, and made sure everything was perfect. He even went the extra mile by personally delivering our food after I accidentally left it behind at the restaurant—above and beyond service.

As for the food, the Salmon Melt still makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The cinnamon pancakes were out of this world, and the smoothies were a nostalgic throwback, beating out some of our childhood favorites. The prices felt more than fair—we would have gladly paid double for the experience.

Even during a busy rush, the team nailed it. We’re already planning our next trip back. Absolutely one of our favorite restaurants of all time.

My friends and I came for a breakfast together and we had a great time! The staff was attentive but not overbearing and gave us lots of time to decide what we'd like. I got the corned beef hash and it was great! It was enough for me to eat it for lunch the same day! One of my friends is also gluten free and she was pleased to see all the gluten free options were labeled well so she knew what she could choose from! They also enjoyed the house coffee and the adorable container the cream for the coffee came in!

Very good food - so good it’s tough to get in here on a weekend!

Food is great but really expensive. Good luck getting your food though. Unfortunately this place has such bad management that you cant ever get a seat or even get a to go order. Ive been here twice and they had open seats but we're turning people away. Its so bad they cant even take to go orders due to staffing issues (per the person who picked up the phone). They dont know how to staff or keep good employees.

Monday's must be training day! We were greeted by an inexperienced server at opening, order was taken incorrectly, server never apologized for her mistake but blamed us for her error. I asked for scrambled eggs but got eggs Sunnyside Up which were actually undercooked and therefore I couldn’t stomach. The Chicken Fried Steak was covered in gravy obviously to hide the fact that it was most likely cooked the day before; if not , it was cooked in yesterday’s oil at a lower temperature that caused the coating to become…revolting. If you are proud of the steak, the gravy should be below the portion to promote the steak. When the server noticed we were not eating… she never questioned why we didn’t touch the meal but handed us ‘to go’ boxes…we didn’t even fill those because if it was unpleasant to begin with, why would we bring it home?…but still paid for the full ‘meal’.

The staff is really friendly and they get you in as quick as possible. I asked about the breakfast special from the week before and they said they could make it for me. The Omlette was made the way they use to be made with more filling than egg. The portions are large and delicious. Very seldom do I find a place with this good of food.

TravTraveling from Phoenix, AZ, I spent a couple of nights at the KOA in Albany. I asked them for a good, non-chain breakfast spot, and that's how I ended up here. The service at the bar was awesome—I got to watch people and enjoy my Bloody Mary along with the chicken fried steak. Plenty of food!

Stopped in for breakfast and had the breakfast sandwich. The biscuit is dense and a little dry. The chicken didn't have much flavor. Overall it's a nice dish and they give you a huge portion but could've been a little better. Service was great and everyone was very friendly.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Lemon ricotta pancakes provide a nice twist to conventional pancakes. Omelettes are great. The BMC scramble has bacon, tomato, cream cheese, spinach, chives and 3 eggs. It is also outstanding. The waffles have great flavor. On the weekends, it can be busy, but typically you are seated in 20 minutes. Great restaurant.

The few times we've gone in here it's been absolutely smoking. The town knows this place rocks, you will wait for a seat normally.
