Camille’s Bistro is an absolute gem in Albany. The food is consistently delicious — beautifully prepared breakfasts that always hit the spot. The atmosphere and ambiance are warm, welcoming, and just perfect for starting your day or catching up with friends or coworkers. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and Camille herself always takes exceptional care of us and everyone else on our team. You can tell she puts her heart into everything she does. They also give military discounts 🇺🇸Highly recommend!

Best breakfast ever! Had the Basique (AKA Basic), delicious. Started with the Beignets, which brought me.right back to New Orleans. Superb! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service excellent. Get there when you can!

Brought my family in for my birthday breakfast and ordered the Breakfast Board, Dungeness Crab Benedict and pancakes and eggs for the kids.
Customer service was excellent, the food was delicious and presented remarkably well. Everything on the table was fantastic, 5/5.

Had the grilled chicken club. Chicken was bland. Needs more flavor.

The food is great, I especially love the filet mignon they serve on the weekends. Their staff is also super friendly and helpful. Hopefully they open for dinner more nights because it's definitely delicious.

This place is utterly magnificent! Both the service, staff and your waiters are incredible people; positive, polite, friendly and caring! They never fail to make you feel welcomed, appreciated and valued! Food here, to be frank, is just top notch. Be it bread, vegetable, fruit or meats, freshness is guaranteed! Reasonable prices, but most importantly, incredible flavors and quality! The atmosphere, too, is just so soft and warm! Perfect for a date, family dinner, solo dine in, or even a birthday party! I always dine in with both of my parents, and the experience, the memories are one of a kind; they never fail to bring us back!

I absolutely recommend their crème brûlée, it’s just something else!! The custard tastes absolutely homemade, authentic, soft and delicious, whilst the caramelized sugar is accompanied by occasional (I believe seasonal) berries and whipped cream; unforgettable experience of exploding flavors in your mouth! The meats, too, are tender, delicious, and mouth-watering! The aftertaste leaves you wanting more!! Did I mention the crime brûlée? ?

In summary, if you haven’t visited this place in person - YOUR LOSS!

Service is friendly, atmosphere is lovely though extremely hot when I visited, I needed to step outside several times! The food was sub-par, my partner had a burger with grilled onions, though the onions were not cooked through. The crab cakes on my benedict were extremely salty/fishy and I couldnt stomach then. My friend ordered a steak and it arrived chopped up and swimming in a mediocre sauce. Seemed a focus on the presentation of the food instead of the quality of the food itself. The cocktails were great, though!

The food is scrumptious. Try to save room for desert - it was delectable. Limited gluten free on the menu - but ask, they were very happy to help us!

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options - and staff is incredibly helpful modifying dishes for allergies, we assume they would treat you just like they did us.

Camille’s has been so welcoming and a comfortable atmosphere. Wait staff is great and the food is unique and filling. It has a neighborhood feel with a 5 star food quality. A good variety of fresh food, drinks, and desserts. Highly recommended.

Despite the recent loss of their head chef, the Happy Hour entrees were original, flavorful and well prepared. Prosciutto with peach and Brie, stuffed mushrooms, perfectly grilled halibut dinner special.

Very good food. Fast and friendly service. Prices are a little on the high end for a sandwich and side.

We've come here about 3 times now and had good experiences with the food and service until this visit. I think we were seated by the hostess who also took our order but never mentioned her name. We ordered the crab bisque soup and house salad. The salad had a huge amount of wilted and decaying greens in it, enough that most of it was picked out leaving little salad to consume. The soup was good. However the real problem arrives when the hostess comes back to take our plates. We informed her of the very poor quality of the salad greens and her response was "it happens". She picks up the plates and walks away. No apology, no attempt to address the issue with us or in the kitchen.

Won't be going back.
