We eat at Cascade grill about once a week because of the great food and service. We typically eat in the bar and the staff are fantastic. It's a treat that we eagerly look forward to.
A little spendy but great atmosphere, great service and my burger was divine. The staff was very professional around the customers even though you can see them socializing by the kitchen on the way out. This restaurant is a diamond in the ruff and has the potential to be a high class 4-5 star restaurant with only a few minor changes. But then again Albany is not a town willing to pay for 5 star service.
This is an excellent place to have dinner. We dined on a Saturday evening. The attention from our server was very good, the food quality was great, and the portions were very good as well. We had wings, soup, which was split pea, salmon dinner and a blue cheese hamburger. Everything was hot on arrival, timely, and delicious. The prices on wine and beer were also great. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner place while staying in Albany.
