So disappointed. Ordered two calzones and got home. The dough was completely raw. I called and told them and gave me a credit for one later on. I don’t know why I would try it again. Waste of money.
Calzone was a basically a cold pocket of vegetable oil and grease with a couple mushrooms and a drop of congealed cheese, with one piece of spinach. Warm on the outside and a slippery mess of very little ingredients inside for a very high price. I love to support local businesses, but this will be our last visit here. I can see why they’re getting more 1-star reviews. I figured they could not mess up a calzone, but I was wrong. You’ve been warned.
Unique options you don’t find everywhere and good flavors. They let us know calzones take a little while to cook and it was worth it! We got to try the new beignets with cherry dip and they were delicious!
Have you ever received a raw pizza before? No? Me neither, until I ordered from here. The medium pizza was completely doughy, not even close to done. It didn't even LOOK done, so I'm not sure how anyone thought it was ready to box up and send. The calzone was also completely doughy, and didn't even have the right ingredients. I ordered one of their menu items, not a custom request, and only one of the 5 to 6 ingredients was correct. Really disappointing. I don't think there's any coming back from this one. Do better.
I was surprised to see that now there are two restaurants in one space. Jojo Macs has joined Cassetta di Pasta, using the morning and afternoon time. I have posted the current menu.
Locally owned and most of the time I've ordered I run into one the owners working there. I found them both to be personable and I love the food. It' unusual experience for me as I found the place after 3/2020 and never goten pasta "To go" before, but this jointmade it worthwhile. Prosciutto and provolone macaroni is one of the best things I've ever eaten and we return there frequently. Try them out, keep them in business.
This was my fiirst time at this restaurant and I ordered the cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce to go. It was extremely salty and I was unable to eat it. I live across town otherwise I would have taken it back.
Best Mac n cheese (with bacon & jalapeño) of my life and my little side salad was extremely fresh.
Peaceful and fast service everything made from scratch and nice friendly people definatly a great place to grab a bite to eat.
Love the food. Never had a bad meal.

Food and staff were awesome. Definitely worth the trip.
Very satisfying! Makes it feel as if you’re in Italy eating haha! ? HIGHLY recommend 5 stars!
Love this little place, food is delicious and it's very cozy.
Spent almost $90. Food was hot when it got to our house (my son picked it up) all of our food was really really really salty. No one finished the food. I asked for no mushrooms and had plenty in my bowl. Probably won’t give it another try.
This place is one of the best resraurants in Albany. Hands down, some of THE BEST pasta I've ever had, EVER! All of their pastas and sauces are made in-house from scratch, which you can easily tell from the savory flavor of the sauces and delectable texture of the pastas they serve. If you've never eaten here, do yourself a big favor and try it! And if you are only familiar with dried "in-the-box" pastas, eating here will LITERALLY expand your concsiousness. I highly recommend the Chicken Cordon Bleu Penne Bake (made with an AMAZING Dijon cheese sauce and crunchy bread crumbs baked right on top!), the Grilled Chicken Fettuccine (fresh squash, zucchini, carrots, and (iirc) broccoli with long fetticcine noodles), the Bacon Ranch Mac (nuff' said here!), and the mighty Bacon Chicken Sriracha Penne (super creamy sriracha cheese sauce, black olives, and green onion really complement their toothsome penne pasta!). They also have some of the tastiest and creative boneless wings I've ever had the pleasure of eating (I mean... Bacon Maple Wings with Waffle Bits, are you kidding me?!). Your taste buds will literaly become sentient, that's how good their food is here. However, once you open this door, there's no going back. You will have a new found understanding of pasta, box style noodles will be seen for what they truly are, and while I can't say whether you'll continue to like them or not, you will see them with new eyes and taste them with a new pallette. But just remember, the box style noodles haven't changed, YOU have ;-)Btw, the various brownies, bars, and especially the dessert calzones, are someting quite special to behold!
