Fish was okay not the best but okay . Service was bit bad had to find someone in such a small place for refills then we never got ranch for salad . Will NOT be returning. As for high it is price for food, needs to be so much better!!

One of my 1st dates with my husband of 35 years, was at The Depot. About 7 years ago we returned and the food was subpar. Tonight we returned and it was like a step back in time! We ordered the large combo, Calamari, and chowder to share. It was delicious! We loved the people, food, and the updates! I highly recommend! We brought home half of our order!! Kinda small little mom and pop kinda feel, but I was overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time. Got a combo plate, the nice lady who was our server helped me out by letting me trade something I didn’t like for something I did like. Drinks were always full, food came out pretty quick and we got to see some cool fishes in the back little aquarium. That being said, I’m not sure if it makes up for the food being the way it was. The plates are far too small or the portions are too big, everything was stacked on top of each other and it was very hard to eat. The menu mentions a side shrimp salad but that was almost the entire bottom of my plate, then a mound of fries stacked on top of and beside the salad, then all the fried food on top of the salad. The oysters were not good, I squeezed one and poop shot out. Everything else seemed very clean, but the oysters made me lose my appetite, not that I could even finish if I hadn’t eaten all day

I grew up in Albany, moved away and came home and I hadn’t been to The Depot in a long time! I heard it had new owners and I wanted to check it out! The Chowder was better than I even remembered and the Bonnie Crunch Shrimp Salad was SPOT ON! Delicious- Friendly Staff and STILL highly recommend! We have a gem in our town! Make sure you grab lunch or pick up dinner on the way home!

Fried clams, yummy! I got the fish and chips with a salad and the salad had a bunch of shrimp which i wasn't expecting. It was great. The fish wasn't hand dipped and was a little under cooked but it was ok. Atmosphere was impressive, small but cool. Really reasonable prices.
