Elmer's Restaurant (Albany, OR)

I unfortunately had a bad experience with Elmers today. I hate that I have been diagnosed with Celiac as much as the young lady that answered the phone when I called to find out about gluten free options😆 She was very annoyed and when I asked to talk to the manager she did not know I could hear her grumble to the manager about me wanting to talk to him. Max the manager did say there only salads for gluten free which is what I was trying to find out and that he would talk to person answering the phone. I did call Red Robin who was very pleasant and they had several options for gluten free with the celiac allergy. So, my party of eight will be taking our business to Red Robin today and not because of very little gluten free options but because of how I was treated. I was calling ahead because I find it embarrassing to ask all of this to the waitress when she is busy. For what it’s worth anyone who has a food allergy Elmers is not the kind of place you want to go.

My mom's favorite restaurant. Great service, cozy atmosphere. Staff are friendly and super accommodating with seating. Also, the last waitress we had offered suggestions to the food that made the whole experience that much better. French dip sandwich with bell peppers and mushrooms! And the loaded hash browns are delicious! 🤤 😋

I met my son and his wife there for breakfast. Service was quick and efficient. Kudos to our server for noticing my son's demeanor as military and giving him the military discount. He was great!

The food is consistently good. It's a chain restaurant and you will get the same quality at any other Elmer's. We really only go here when we want a change from Denny's. Honestly, save a few dollars and go to the Denny's a half mile east.

I loved the bathroom. It was nice and warm and I run cold so it felt really good. Best pooping experience I've had in a while!!! Highly reccomend!

Had a good meal with great service. Justin was our server, just as nice as can be. Made sure everything was good, hot and timely.
