For starters, I’ve never left a review like this. I made a reservation for 15 people for a birthday party. We showed up for our 7pm reservation and they ‘forgot’ to put us down. We had to wait until almost 8pm to get a table. Then we ordered food. Everyone in our party got their food but me. After waiting an hour and a half, I went to check and they ‘lost’ my order. I told them to forget it. I’ve waited long enough. This is my very first visit here and will probably be my last. I was not impressed with this visit at all. Super disappointed.

Greyhound is the new go to spot in Albany. Their staff, food, drinks and variety of event and theme nights makes them just what Albany needed!

I went to the Greyhound tavern for the first time today! It was amazing! Great service and such a fun atmosphere! We happened to be there during battle of the bands! This is exactly what downtown Albany needed! Oh, and the pizza was a delicious plus!

Their pizza was great. The service was fast and friendly and it had a fun atmosphere.
Vegetarian options: They have really good pizza. They have other stuff too, but I tunnel visioned on the pizza. My wife got the taco pizza with no meat or dairy, and I got a pizza with olives. To me, crust and sauce are the most important part of a pizza, and they nailed it.

The food has gotten better since they opened, salads are where they shine. Seating is a bit odd and miss and hit. Almost all arcades are $1 per play, which is just overpriced and takes the fun out of it. Most of the arcades just sit there no one playing due to this and just makes it feel awkward.

Had the Uncle Nico pizza, and it was amazing. Seasoned crust and loads of toppings for $18 after the lunch discount. The staff is fabulous and very welcoming. Add on the pinball, and it's a great time. My husband and I will definitely make this our go-to place downtown.

I want to love this place because Albany needs something like this (in theory) so badly but I’ve been twice and both times were disappointing. Our service both times was GREAT (no complaints there at all) and I do like the pinball machines and location is great. Our complaints are exclusively with the food (and drinks, to a much lesser extent.) We went on a Thursday both times and the first time they were out of 2 items one of my friends wanted so we each got a different pizza. The menu is mostly pizzas and all of us were very disappointed with all of the pizzas both times we went. The pizzas are about the size of a Totinos and expensive (a pepperoni is $22, they go up from there) and both times we went all of our pizzas were thin, hard and burnt. They are literally the same quality as a frozen pizza but burnt. I really want to love having a good pizza place downtown but this ain’t it. They really need to bring someone in who can overhaul the pizzas entirely because they are terrible. The cocktails were good but also a bit overpriced (I ordered a couple jalapeño margaritas which were quite small and $15/16); my friends had other cocktails and the opinions ranged from “meh” to “good, but not great.” The GT does have a good variety of entertainment on rotation so I hope they can make some improvements but, for now, myself and everyone I’ve spoken to who’ve eaten there, do not recommend this place for food.
