Absolutely amazing! I’d been craving a seafood boil and Kracked Crab nailed it on the dot!! The butter selection was versatile and the prices were sooo reasonable. The atmosphere and vibe at The Barn was also perfectly aesthetic!

I order a number 9. I was suppose to get 2 crab bundles, lobster tail, and sausage. I did not get any sausage, I got a few baby sized crab legs ( no claw), but I did get a small lobster tail. This was a rip off for $40 bucks. An expensive snack. Going to have to. Go to Rigoberto’s to get my stomach full. Won’t go back. I will say the flavor was good . I’ll stick with bag oh crab for my boils in the future. I don not recommend!

We did not get any sausage in our boil and my order was supposed to have two bundles of crab, I only received one and a couple of baby legs. The flavor was very good but did not get what I ordered.

I know they are not known for fish & chips, but why is it on the menu if they don't know how to make it?! The regular crinkle cut fries, that I can get at Walmart, were limp and appeared to have been sitting out under a lamp for a while. The fish! The was closer to leather. Way over cooked to a VERY hard crunchy shell, almost like a crab's shell. The fish inside was edible and the flavor was good, though chewy. Not worth the work to get to it; the crust dug into my gums a little. The last thing was the time. Not a very busy evening and was told a 15 minute wait. Finally got the food after 45 minutes. I'd guess that's how long the fish was cooked and the fried left under a lamp. Go to The Depot downtown instead for your fish.

The service was friendly and the atmosphere enjoyable, but the food fell short. For $33 per plate, the crab lacked freshness - the shells were soft, the color was off, and the meat was difficult to extract. The butter was average, and the corn was soggy, clearly overcooked frozen corn. The eggs and potatoes ended up being the highlight, which is disappointing for a crab-focused menu. I left still searching for another place to truly satisfy a crab craving.

I visited the restaurant today and it's definitely not a southern seafood boil. They sprinkle seasoning on top of seafood verses cooking the seasoning with the seafood. The seafood was very blend.

Not sure if this is under new ownership but not impressed anymore with the customer service. I asked for a small cup of tartar sauce and was told I would be charged a dollar, really?
Delicious food and amazing flavors—truly one of the best crab dishes I’ve had in a long time! The seasoning was on point, and the quality of the seafood exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend this spot to any seafood lover.
However, I was disappointed that crab crackers weren’t provided with the order. I tried tackling it with my hands, but the shell was far too hard to break. Unfortunately, that meant I had to take the food home to eat it properly. For a place that sells crab, shell-cracking utensils should definitely be available on-site.
Tip: If you forget yours, there’s a store across the street near Mimoji that sells them for around $7.
Overall, the food is worth the visit—just come prepared if you’re ordering the crab!

Food was really good but our order got mixed up with someone else's. We waited just over 30 minutes for 2 meals. A little better communication about the wait time would have been appreciated. So, 5 stars for food and atmosphere, 3 for service.

Good eats
This was the best food I have had since I was in New Orleans. I would recommend it to anybody
I recently ordered from here I have to say it was a fantastic experience! The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. The crab legs were cooked just right, and they paired so well with the juicy shrimp, tender potatoes, and sweet corn. Everything was generously portioned, making it well worth the price.
Not only was the food amazing, but the service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to prepare the order. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this seafood truck to any seafood lovers out there!
