Went in just after 2 for happy hour appetizers. The table tent showed five appetizers for $10 each, we ordered two of them. When the bill came they charged us full price, no big deal, I ll point it out to them when I pay. I pointed it out and was told it was only mon thru Fri even though it does not say that anywhere. The gentleman told me that the owner locks the register, so he cannot make any adjustments. So instead of being charged $20, I have to pay $30. Not good practices. The food and service was great, their policies suck. I will not be going back.

Stopped to get a quick snack cause I was starving ordered 4 asada tacos and a chili relleno a la cart. Total came out to FORTY dollars, I was gobsmacked. 4 little tacos and a pinner chili relleno 40$. I should have gone to Rigobertos down the road same thing would be 20$

Great service and really good food especially the carne asada.

The food here is always awesome, no matter what I order! The spicy pineapple margaritas are the best around. The staff is super friendly and the vibe at La Roca in Albany is just great — definitely one of my favorite spots to eat!

Great food, excellent service
I love this place. The food is excellent, really outdid my expectations. We went for dinner with family and had a great time. Drinks were made super fast and we sat in their outdoor seating area during a hot day. It was amazing.
The furniture in the restaurant is GORGEOUS. Love the decorations. The staff is super nice and one of them even remembered my brothers drink order for him.
Smaller sized place but it's nice and chill. I wish I had a picture but I ate my food too quick!
Please try this if you're looking for good food.

Terrible service and the manager has been consistently disrespectful - laughing at a chipped plate, not checking in with us when he checks in on every other table around, etc. We will not return. It's a shame because the food is ok.
Excellent services! The owner is such an excellent professional! We are treated with so much value! Thank YOU for an excellent night at your restaurant, establishment. Dr. Coach Kay
Ordered the tortilla soup to go as I was not feeling great. The soup is very very good. Fresh avocado, onions, cilantro, melted cheese lots of flavor. Was exactly what I was looking for. Service was fast and friendly restaurant was clean as always. Such a great underrated little spot for albany. I'd recommend to anyone.
Always love it! The jalapeño margaritas are the best in town!
Tried this place for the first time with my family. The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a typical Mexican restaurant. Our drinks came out quickly, but the waitress never asked what size beer we wanted and just brought 20 oz mugs instead of 16 oz. Not a huge deal, but something to note.
The food was disappointing. It took longer than expected even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy. I specifically asked if the super nachos came with both chicken and carne asada, and the waitress confirmed that it did. When it arrived, there was only carne asada, which was dry, tough, and full of gristle. The Carne Asada did not seem fresh, as if it was prepared a week ahead and also sat in a warmer all day. The cheese was melted but had hardened to the point where I had to tear it apart just to get some on a chip. To top it off, when I walked past the kitchen, there was an overwhelming seafood smell, something I know from years of cooking in restaurants means the seafood likely wasn’t very fresh and starting to turn.
That said, I would come back for drinks and chips & salsa, especially on their outdoor patio. It looks like a great spot to sit and relax, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t order food again.
