Margin got me through vet school! It was the perfect place to study with the nicest owner and staff. Bonus is the food and coffee! ☕️ ♥️

We went to get coffee/tea and were tired and hoping to sit down for a while after walking around downtown. Well the customers in there were sitting, working on their computer or curled up with books. Looked very cozy but I suspect that they were not going anywhere for a couple of hours. So I paid 4 dollars for a tiny cup of tea in a paper cup, walking back to our car. Don't think we will go there next time.

This is the best espresso my husband and I have found in the area. It is our favorite stop when we are walking around Albany or for a little sit down. I also love that they have $1 cookies. Rarely can you find a treat for that cheap anymore!

The bathrooms are kept clean and stocked. We liked this place and the coffee was very good. PARKING is a beast of its own !! And, there are outside tables and chairs that have an overhang, but no exterior electric outlets. Although, be aware of the unwanted comments from the pagan employees and believers and open LGBTQ, which is not good. They TOLERATE Christians, to say the least, and would like to see them forever leave the place. You are either accepted here and liked, or disliked and grumbly hated. KEEP SILENT. If you cannot take the heat of bad comments, then think again about coming here, EAR MUFFS OR OTHER DEVICE IS BEST. Although, you may be spared the day you come or because they like you. Nice interior. They have a private large table in the rear of the cafe' which would be good for small meetings.

Cute and hip spot to grab some coffee or tea and a breakfast snack. The service was really good, the employees were super nice. It was full though and no where to sit, but we made it work. They are just really popular! My London fog was really tasty!

If you’re passing in town or just needing a solid place for coffee, take this as your must in old town Albany. Very tasty coffee!!! Served hot!

This place is massive for a coffee shop. Plenty of place to meet, study, or read.

Friendly staff. Street parking. Come. Sip. Enjoy!

Upon entering, I found myself waiting at the register for about five minutes. Finally, the barista took our order: a bagel with cream cheese and a pour-over. After we paid, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the barista was subtly prompting us for a tip, we ordered at 2:29 PM. To my surprise, we observed that several customers who had ordered after us received their order before we did. Finally we received the pour over at 2:50 PM and we received the bagel at 2:53 PM, an unpleasant experience and unbelievable.

Me and my husband live in New Mexico, and visit Oregon every summer. A couple years ago, Margin was our new go-to place, but this year was different. The younger generation of employees there don’t seem very motivated to provide a pleasant experience. When we asked for water, they gave us tap water, which is unacceptable. The last few times it was extremely loud inside, and one girl who waited on us acted like we were imposing on her by asking for a refill on our coffee. The vibe in here attracts a lot more snobbish people than it used to. If we’re such an imposition, we have no problem taking our business elsewhere.

Dropped in right at closing for a chai and the case of their baked goodies caught my eye. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and delicious and just right with the chai. Thanks Margin.
