What happened!!! The food was sub par and our order was incomplete. Did not notice it until we got home. Always loved Pings but this is the first time there since the NEW owners. The HOT mustard was not hot, but barely warm. The shrimp dipping sauce was bland and watered down, so thin! The fried rice was bland and barely had any vegetables and egg in it. Plus the color of the rice was off. It was a orange, brown color. Not going back!! Our main go to CHINESE RESTAURANT Is MAS in LEBANON!!!!!!!! THE BEST!!!!!

Second time in six weeks we've ordered Pings. So very disappointed in the lack of flavor and overall quality. We ordered Honey garlic chicken that had a taste of old fryer oil. Pork egg fu young tasted as if there was flour in it that wasn't cooked out. Portions are so much smaller than before. I'm sorry to say this family will no longer patronize Pings. I do not recommend this establishment.

I'm a long time customer and fan of Pings, so it hurts me to give such a harsh rating of this restaurant. I hope that Quen and Ping are enjoying their retirement. I wish that this establishment would change their name, it is no longer Pings. I tried to order our regular order only to find out certain dishes had been removed (spicy popcorn shrimp). So, I ordered some fried shrimp. The batter covering had holes, it didn't cover the shrimp and was fried hard as a fortune cookie. The piece of shrimp inside was TINY and hard. The chili garlic shrimp was bland and tasteless. The fried rice should be labeled sun baked rice with not much else included. Our dogs wouldn't eat it. So, needless to say, we won't be ordering anything else here. Yummy House has excellent fried shrimp and are family owned and operated. Please give them a try.

The food was good, but the Szechuan chicken had no spice at all and way to many bell peppers. Very disappointed.

Boy where do I begin.... So I ordered delivery for 2 people and while the food was fast and hot that's the only good thing I can say. The crab puffs were fried properly but had very little filling and what filling it did have had a funny taste to it. The general tso was bland and even though it was ordered extra spicy i could have fed it to a child and they still would have been underwhelmed. The sweet and sour chicken was a soggy lumpy mess and almost All sauce. All the breading had fallen off. I ordered the pork fried rice and not only did it lack in pork it lacked in any sort of flavor. No eggs no veggies just boring undercooked but over fried crunchy rice that I had to throw away. The chicken chow mein was 90% bean sprouts. Egg flower soup tasted old and possibly rotten. The best thing I can say I ate here was the fortune cookie. Incredibly disappointed. My dead German grandmother could make better Chinese food than this place. Never again.

The most bland "Denny's" version of Chinese cooking I've ever experienced. Ordered item that was supposed to be spicy and was as dull as dirt. Was curious as it has been around for many years but completely underwhelmed and disappointed.

Tried out Pings since new owners took over and would NOT recommend it. I had the Broccoli chicken and it was terrible. Very strange flavor and had no sauce as it used to have when Ping owned it. Husband had the Schezuan combo and the flavor was totally off and tasted watery. Service was good however no complaints with our service. However food has really changed and NOT for the good. Almost like the cooks have no experience with Chinese dishes.

Had a late lunch early dinner today from Pings.this was the second time we have eaten there since new owners. The first time was awful so we gave them some time too work things out and practice I guess. This second time was worse, I have never had such horrible shrimp I think they had been sitting for sometime. They should have been thrown away NOT sold too anyone way over cooked so hard couldn't eat them. Red sauce is now just ketchup with some sugar so gross. Even the kids were disappointed in the fortune cookies, hard, stale, uneatable.so sad too see this what was a wonderful resrurant go so far down. Wont be back

I read the reviews, filtered through the input and made the decision to order for my family regardless of some of the negative comments. What I got for $55 was a small amount of food and a large amount of disappointment. I think I could have gotten several happy meals and fed the individuals more if I had just trusted my gut (which was hungry and misled) but I didn't. I have eaten inside before and it was good and portioned well but as this is the third delivery order in the 6 years I've lived here...congrats, I will never order from you again. Forgive the 'hangriness' mood but I feel slighted.

Great setting, service was very good in my few experiences. Seeing comments regarding pricing but I don't think you'll get more food anywhere in Albany /Corvallis for the price. Food definitely isn't crazy flavorful but bland is not the right word either. I've been a few times, and I'll be back again. Seems to be very consistent with portion size and quality!

Since Ping and Quin sold the business, the new owners have changed product and recipes. I've been going there for over 30 years, since they were in the little restaurant next to Wendy's Years ago. They are bever very busy so I know I'm not the only one seeing the differences. Waylin is still serving but once she is gone I hope I can find another place to eat Chinese food.
