The food is as beautiful as it is delicious—every plate feels thoughtfully crafted. We had Rosemary cranberry chicken and roasted garlic and mushroom linguine, but added the beef tenderloin tips. The atmosphere is moody and cozy, with black walls, mirrored accents, and bold touches of red that make the space feel both intimate and dramatic. A perfect spot for a slow dinner or a special night out. And the desserts are absolutely to die for!!!
When you walk in, you are transformed into another place in time. This is an exceptional experience in Albany, Oregon. The staff is very gracious and professional. The food and drinks are amazing. And the Wine list is a perfect complement to your meal, offering a selection of Oregon wines as well as imports.
This is a spot not to miss! Make sure to make reservations as they are quite popular.
First time and unfortunately prolly our last. Sad we only discovered this spot on our last week here in Albany. Had this on my saved list since we got here Here to celebrate completing our travel contracts in town. The cocktails and the setting were great. Love the vibe. Staff were cool and not too many people after 9 PM on a Thursday. We had three drinks and all were wonderful and strong. I love that the menu was categorized. All unique flavors and pages of options. We tried the artichoke dip to snack on, it was nice & fresh. Had some great conversations with everyone at the bar. Definitely recommend this sweet spot 😆
Always a pleasurable experience. The food is delightful and the cocktails are creative and exquisitely crafted. It's a great place to celebrate in an intimate atmosphere. Can get a lil busy, so make a reservation to be sure they can accommodate.
We had the most perfect dinner experience at Sweet Red for our anniversary. We were made to feel so special by the entire staff. The service, food, and ambience were absolutely impeccable. This restaurant is a SIX STAR class act.
This restaurant is probably the best in the valley. I was surprised to find such a lovely small-town establishment. Regardless of when we visit, it is always crowded, and both the food and atmosphere are exceptional.
Best place for a couple's date nights, super nice occasionol or just a nice place for friends to gather. Best food in town. Servers are always great and helpful. Cocktails are not too bad either 😉.
Create place! Amazing Food! Awesome people!
We dropped in for a couple drinks and appetizers. They fit us in without a reservation and we had a fabulous time.
I love their old fashions and martinis.

Love, love, love Sweet Red Bistro! This is an absolute gem that we love so much, we actually came by two times during our most recent visit to the area.
On our second trip on New Year's Eve, we headed to the older location on first street, where they were serving drinks and a champagne toast to kick off the new year.
From their special NYE cocktail menu, I tried the Salsa while my partner tried the Midnight Manhattan. The Salsa was spicy (as advertised), and had a nice savory flavor with the jalapeño tequila, serrano rum, ancho Reyes chili liqueur and Calabrian chilis coming together to provide a balanced kick in the face.
The Midnight Manhattan had an initial kick of rye whiskey, which softened into cinnamon and clove notes, before finishing with a chocolatey smoothness.
After toasting to the New Year with Cindy and the rest of the patrons, we enjoyed a second round where I got the Sidecar while my partner got the Paper Aeroplane.
The Sidecar was beautifully balanced with cognac, lemon, simple and orange liqueur. It contrasted nicely with my first cocktail (the Salsa), which was tasty but savory and spicy, so the sweet smoothness provided a nice finish to the night.
The Paper Aeroplane was the only slight miss of the night for us. The bourbon, Aperol, amaro and lemon provided an interesting combination of flavors, although we felt the flavors didn't go together as well as in the other drinks.
Overall, it was a charming and cozy way to ring in the new year and we are very thankful that Sweet Red Bistro is a part of downtown Albany, as the service and drinks (haven't tried the food yet) are top notch. This is a must try spot in Albany!
Sweet Red is our absolute favorite restaurant in Albany. We celebrate every occasion here. The friendly staff know us and treat us like family. Do yourself a favor and get the tomato Gorgonzola soup, it's amazing...but everything I've ever tried here is top notch. The drinks are unique and so tasty, the atmosphere is cozy and intimate, and the food is out of this world. I can't say enough good things about Sweet Red Bistro...love it!
Sweet Red has been creating memories for years; my absolute favorite restaurant in Albany. I have never had a meal that disappointed, and the service is always unmatched. It truly is the only restaurant worth dining at in Albany. So many things I love about Sweet Red, from their incredible crafted cocktails, amazing tapa selection, unmatched top tier service, and entree selection which always exceeds expectations. Always excited to dine at Sweet Red for any occasion!
My son and his wife had their wedding reception at Sweet Red Bistro, it has a romantic ambience and great food!
It was an evening to remember ❤️
Great food and even better staff.
