Yesterday I ordered a large, black cold brew. That's it, and it didn't even taste like coffee it was so watered down. $4.75 for basically water. I'm not sure who is in charge of making your cold brew but might be worth QC

I haven't been satisfied with any of coffees from human bean for a couple years now. So I thought I would order something different. I ordered a blended coffee, which I thought was going to be a cool icy drink. It didn't have any ice in it. It was chilled and blended but not the delicious icy texture that I love.
I ordered a muddy mocha with vanilla and huckleberry. SO the flavors of the drink should have been coffee, chocolate milk, white chocolate, vanilla, and huckleberry. What I got was an extra sweet caramel monstrosity WITH huckleberry. Words can not describe how horrid that tasted! My friend got an English breakfast black tea with vanilla and huckleberry. What he got was some unflavored hibiscus bitterness. We get these drinks ALL THE TIME and love them. THESE WERE NOT THEM! I didn't want to go back for fear that they still would not make it right. I drove all the way over to the Hill St SE Human Bean and asked them to remake it. They were perfectly polite and apologized for the error. They remade the drinks and they tasted fantastic. I wish I had asked the man's name who help us. He was so nice and the 3 girls he was with were so friendly and cheerful it really made us not feel so bad about the prior drinks. If you are reading this, please just go to the Hill St Human Bean.

The worst Human Bean ever. Stopped by on the way home and tried to pay with a gift card we received when we bought the 25 for 20 deal. Was told we could only use the card at the store where we bought them??? I don't understand that. Also ordered a 4 shot caramel macchiato on ice with oat milk. Not sure what I received but my coffee was a small, probably only one shot of espresso if I had to guess and didn't have any caramel in it. Was like drinking sweet milk on ice. Very disappointed.

If there was a lower rating than one star I would most definitely select that! I went To the human bean on Pacific boulevard in Albany oregon To purchase a java chip mocha. Upon arrival the sign was a little confusing about the prices, so I asked the employee if the 4.75-5.75 price difference was between a 20 and 32oz drink The employee informed me that the 32 oz drink was $5.75 with a verbal confirmation. So I ordered the 32 oz upon arriving at the window I was charged 8.75 Which is a $3 and a substantial difference from $5.75. I received my drink and upon pondering went back to get a refund for the $3 When I pulled back up to the window the employees were very rude short with me and had no resolution to get me my refunded amount. I was told there was no manager or no corporate number I could contact but the manager was on her way in so I could wait there. About 10 minutes has gone by as I'm waiting for the manager I seen the manager pull up and instead of coming to talk to me she called the police. The police showed up Albany police to be exact and was very confrontational and rude and basically tried placing me under arrest for sitting in the drive through doing as I was told waiting for the manager. I want this to be clear that at no point in time did I lose my temper or raise my voice or use any cuss words I was 110% respectful and i was never asked to leave I was actually told to wait for the manager and that's what I did until officer John Beckwith with the Albany police department showed up and added fuel to the fire and was very confrontational. I've been visiting human bean in my Hometown of Clackamas Oregon for many many years and always had a wonderful visit but I will never again visit a human bean, Or feel comfortable with the decisions and actions of John Beckwith with the Albany police department please everybody watch out for this hot head he is in no way shape or form somebody that should be serving or protecting the streets of Albany for our loving citizens.

They said they “take their time” refuse to break a 50 dollar bill when I am spending 20 dollars already. Poor attitude and service all around. Next time go literally anywhere else human bean is not worth your time. The people that work here cannot count or have some sort of lack of knowledge in that area.

8/10/18, 1120am, south window barista as unfriendly from the second I pulled up. To her co-worker she then snidely, and audibly, mocked my single drink order. There are literally dozens of other coffee shops nearby; I'll take my business to one that doesn't think severe allergies should be made fun of.
