Being from The Bay State myself I have missed so much food back east. I was just talking about how I have been craving a steak n cheese. Then I stumbled across this place. I’m addicted. I can’t wait to come back and try everything.

If you want a fresh deliciously tasty flavorful sandwich (or burger, etc) this is the place 100%. It's not here for atmosphere or entertainment or views, just good eats! It's in a funky basement corner room under the courthouse- unique! Follow your Google maps directions to the right hand side of the building and then signage in and down inside. I had the steak bomb sandwich. Big, hot, with gooey cheese and lots of deep grilled steak flavor. The hoagie it was on was toasty and warm with a slight crunch. The owner was a friendly very helpful guy- enthusiastic and working hard to make sure we were well served. Thanks!

Best sandwich place in the area. I haven't had a better sandwich south of Portland. It's a little hard to find, buried down in the basement of the courthouse but man the meat was fresh and the food was delicious.
Best Reuben I've had! Not drenched in dressing like other places, just the right amount of everything. Heck when I went down there I saw the cook dressing the meat so you know it's fresh. How this place has been hiding in that little basement I don't know but whoever works at that courthouse is lucky. Can't recommend enough.

Very difficult to find but much worth it, I had the hotdogs and my wife had the west coast burger. This restaurant may be 400 miles away from my home town but I will absolutly be returning

I always forget this is inside the court house. A little confusing if you're not a local, but good food none the less.

I do not get out much, so there are a lot of Albany area restaurants I have not or do not know about. This was one. My employer buys the shop lunch every Friday and I chose this spot. Oh...my...word. Glad I did. A coworker and I saw the tuna melt (it has bacon in it - nuff said) and were both like - uh, yeah.... gotta have that. It was the best darn tuna melt I have ever had. And I saw the pastrami melts and the steak & cheese (philly cheesesteak) - those looked awesome, too. Big sandwiches for a reasonable price. 5 meals for $68 - pretty darn good if you ask me. Lots of meat. Can't ask for anything better. I am in love.

Such a hidden gem in the basement of the Linn County Courthouse!!!!

We had the chicken kabob salad. Great taste, fresh ingredients, nicely seasoned chicken and perfect dressing.
Stop here , you won't be disappointed.
