It says K teriyaki outfront but this place is way more than just teriyaki! Amazing food, super amazing staff, friendly and quick! Super cute decor as well and there are even cake slices! Love the bulgogi beef bowl and the takoradi! There is a wonderful traditional Japanese ambience but also very modern and chic!

I am a lifelong fan of this place now!

The place looks amazing and the people are legit! But honestly half our food went to waste. It wasn’t cheap and while the portions were large, it wasn’t completely worth eating. Surprised and let down to see their seaweed salad is pre-packaged AND has 2-3 artificial dyes in it and it tasted AWFUL. One bite threw the rest away. Might have been spoiled? It did not taste good at all and we usually love that stuff from other places.

The service and atmosphere are so top notch though! Otherwise I might want my money back. Instead I might try them again! Different dish maybe? Perhaps we are not lucky.

Nice casual place to eat. The portions were good, the seats were comfy and the staff were really kind. They sell yummy treats at the front too. Good place to stop by for lunch.

Not impressed. Why?

A couple of rules I have when dining at a facility: no tipping if I am standing up to order or if I pay before my food arrives. Both of these conditions were met here.

What really bugs me and pushed me to a review was the instance at the front counter when I was paying. After our order was completed and I was paying with card, I tapped the machine to process payment. Because I didn't tip, the cashier BACKED out of the transaction, showed me my options of 10, 15, 20 and 25% to tip. We were in the dinner for two already $40, but because I had zero ability to tip (GRATUITY) based on the food and service, I felt that at that point tipping would be just throwing money away. I had cash in my wallet I would have left a cash tip if service would have been stellar along with the food but I was pressured at the front counter to apply a tip prior to anything.

This is unacceptable.

Food was sub-par, we had the chicken goyza or whatever it is called. Teriyaki sauce was so sweet I couldn't cut it (balance) it out with the noodles. I had half my dinner and took the rest home to toss.

Would I go there again: absolutely not.

I'll find somewhere else to go. It should be noted I've gone there prior to the name change/new business owners and had no issues. Something changed and it shows.

Reasons: too expensive for the quality of food and strong-arm service we received. I cant eat for less at a buffet with the same quality as this place.

Super good teriyaki, I ordered the b1(chicken teriyaki) best in town that I have tried! Will be back! Yumm!

I normally go here for lunch when I'm close, I love the teriyaki chicken with noodles, good food and not pricey.
